Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) had it all planned out . . .

A loud and brash enemy of Israel, Tlaib secured the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center last month for an ugly anti-Israel hate-fest.

Just as friends of Israel like you CELEBRATED its 75th birthday last month, Tlaib used her prerogative as a member of Congress to reserve the taxpayer-funded Capitol Visitors Center auditorium for an Israel-bashing “Nakba 75” event.

Worse, she also introduced a poisonous House resolution, H.Res. 388, condemning Israel, calling its very existence a “nakba,” Arabic for “catastrophe.”

That’s how Tlaib and others see the birth AND continuing existence of the Jewish state of Israel. Israel is the one and only democracy in the Middle East, but for Palestinians like Tlaib, Israel is a debacle ... and one that MUST be destroyed.

Now Tlaib wants the House to approve her resolution “recognizing the ongoing Nakba.” It is packed with vicious lies about the Jewish state. But more on that in a moment.

First, however, Tlaib and several Israel-hating organizations were all set to gather at the taxpayer-funded Capitol Visitors Center in May. Their purpose? To demonize Israel for its very existence.

But Speaker Kevin McCarthy caught wind of Tlaib’s plan and kicked her out the day before it was to occur.

“It’s wrong for members of Congress to traffic in anti-Semitic tropes about Israel,” McCarthy told FreeBeacon.com. “As long as I’m speaker, we are going to support Israel’s right to self-determination and self-defense, unequivocally and in a bipartisan fashion.”

I say good for him!

But Democrats nationwide are becoming more pro-Palestinian than pro-Israel, by 49% to 38%, according to Gallup. You and I must support and encourage politicians who stand with Israel … and against Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s vicious lies.

We must now raise our voices as one and DEMAND that the U.S. Congress REJECTS Tlaib’s anti-Jewish lies along with her disastrous and deceitful H.Res. 388.
