Anita and I just returned from Israel, where we led a group on a life-changing experience in the Holy Land as part of our Covenant Journey ministry, a vital part of CIDI’s mission. Since 2014, Covenant Journey has taken Christian college-age students who have leadership potential, adults, and a variety of groups to Israel, providing an immersive experience in the Holy Land designed to strengthen every tour member’s Christian faith.

COVID travel restrictions prevented us from taking these journeys for three full years, so we were thrilled to once again share the Holy Land with people eager to deepen their faith in Jesus!

But if you happened to watch U.S. and international news feeds, you would have thought the Jewish state was burning down around us. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Joe Biden’s refusal to extend an invitation to Prime Minister Netanyahu before this past weekend contributed to the opposition to the new conservative government. And I have little doubt that the Biden regime is working to destabilize this government.

STOP Joe Biden’s attempts to topple the Israeli government!

Three years ago, if you had asked any Israeli on the street if Israel’s Supreme Court structure needed to be overhauled, most, regardless of party, would have said “yes.”

Israel does not have “checks and balances” between government branches. Instead, Israel’s judicial system has a process whereby judges appoint other judges to Israel’s Supreme Court, without oversight from any other government compartment or agency.

Imagine if U.S. Supreme Court Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Breyer — just those three alone — oversaw selecting and appointing new Supreme Court justices. We would never have a Justice Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, or Barrett on the bench. Instead, these three members would continue appointing more justices like themselves, with no involvement of the people or their representatives.

Further, without a system of checks and balances, Supreme Court justices could and would prevent a newly elected government with a differing philosophy of government from enacting the will of the people. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to end the Israeli Supreme Court’s independent stranglehold on government power and won his election.

Three years ago, the need for judicial reform was a view shared by nearly all Israelis — but that was before Joe Biden, George Soros, and other leftists began funding the protests meant to topple Netanyahu’s coalition government.

Earlier this month, I shared with you a report by Middle East expert Lee Smith who wrote that, “The Biden Administration has departed from diplomatic protocol by repeatedly advertising its meetings with the political faction seeking to undermine Israel’s newly elected right-wing government.”

At that time, Smith revealed that “Biden’s State Department is now directly funding local activists organizing the protests. By publicly putting its prestige and money behind the coalition that lost the latest Israeli election, Washington is openly advertising its desire to bring down Netanyahu.”

Demand Congress investigate Biden’s warlike actions against Israel NOW!

According to tax forms filed by one of the main protest organizers, The Movement for the Quality of Government in Israel, the U.S. State Department is one of its largest funders!

Shortly after Joe Biden took office in 2020, Biden’s State Department began funding the protest group. Funding increased substantially in 2022, as Biden sought to prevent Benjamin Netanyahu from taking office as prime minister once again. Thankfully, Biden failed. However, he continues funding the protest organizations determined to unseat the Israeli leader — with YOUR taxpayer dollars.

Outside of the cities in Israel, our tour group occasionally saw a few Israeli flags on cars or being held by people in protest of the reforms. But these were few and far between in the days we spent touring the Holy Land. And we saw a busload of people being dropped off at 1 a.m. to protest.

We saw no unrest at all except as portrayed by the media running the same scene over and over again where people light a small bonfire in Tel Aviv.

But the media portrayed the events as if Israel had devolved into chaos. I can assure you, those news reports are exaggerated.

But these reports demonstrate all too well the coordinated attacks by the Biden administration, the media, and the antisemitic world leaders who hope to see Benjamin Netanyahu and the Jewish state not only fail, but be wiped from the planet.

It’s the same old antisemitism that has driven centuries of hatred, and now it’s being funded by our own government with our tax dollars!

Please join me now in demanding the U.S. House of Representatives fully investigate, expose, and STOP Joe Biden’s attempts to topple the Israeli government.
