In an alarming interview, an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) colonel revealed the extent to which Iran is gaining ground on Israel.
“A regional superpower is emerging next to us,” Col. T told Israel’s most-read newspaper last month. He warned that today, Iran is “completely different” from the Iran of 2000 or even 2010.
“Iran has made a dramatic leap forward in its military capability,” said the colonel, a former fighter pilot and squadron commander. He now leads an IDF directorate charged with preparing for the mounting Iranian threat. He reported. . .
In 2000, it [Iran’s military] had no possibility of hitting us from Iran. In 2010, it had several hundred inaccurate missiles. If you look at its arsenal today, at the number of precise missiles it has, on how it arms our enemies–this is a different Iran.
The fact is, Iran is enriching uranium at an accelerating pace, building long-range ballistic missiles, expanding its drone fleet and arming its proxy forces surrounding Israel. And the billions Iran will take in if it reenters the nuclear deal will catapult its war machine skyward.
The mullah’s goal is to crush and eliminate Israel. Iran’s cruel dictator, Ali Khamenei, boasts that Israel will be wiped off the map by 2040.
The “barbaric, wolflike” Jewish state, he said on Twitter, “has no cure but to be annihilated.”
