Thanks to Joe Biden's concessions, a deal is taking shape that enriches the ayatollahs with billions while simply shelving their nuclear ambitions for a few short years. Meanwhile, the deal also fuels Iran’s insatiable appetite for Israel's destruction and the establishment of a global caliphate.

Global rule is the end game toward which the radical Islamic regime is aiming. A signed nuclear pact will do nothing to steer this "apocalyptic cult" away from its grand ambition of crushing all resistance and ushering in the return of its "messiah" (or “Mahdi”) to Jerusalem from which he will rule the nations under shariah (Islamic law).

For the Iranian mullahs, nuclear weapons are the key to everything they crave.

Ali Khamenei is now the lawless rogue regime’s "supreme leader." But in 1984, he was Iran’s president. He told Iran's political and military leaders back then that reactivating the nation's nuclear program was the “only way to secure the very essence of the Islamic Revolution from the schemes of its enemies, especially the United States and Israel, and prepare the nation for the emergence of Imam Mehdi.”

Iran’s mullahs believe that eliminating Israel and taking Jerusalem will set the stage for the return of the Mahdi (or Mehdi). This mysterious figure, in Shia Islam, is the still-living but hidden "Twelfth Imam" not seen since 874 A.D. when he became “invisible.” Iran's rulers believe his return as the Mahdi ("the rightly guided one") will bring about global Islamic rule, which means, of course, the imposition of cruel sharia on all.

That is the crazed Islamofascist idea driving Iran's quest for nuclear weapons. A deal concocted in Vienna does nothing to change it—but it advances Iran’s steady path toward fulfilling this quest. Thanks to Biden's giveaways, the deal now taking shape will only accelerate Iran's bid for global rule.

Iran will put the billions that flood its accounts to work right away to wage war on Israel and export its revolution across the Middle East. And as Israeli Arab journalist Khaled Abu Toameh reports, Iran is planning to use the so-called "West Bank" as a launch pad for attacks on Israel.

"Gaza is not the only field of resistance and struggle, but this struggle has also moved to the West Bank," the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) top commander recently said.

Just as Iran supplies arms to Hamas in Gaza, he said, it will do the same for Palestinians in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria).

"There is no safe place at any time for Israel and its citizens," boasted the IRGC commander who emphasized "the necessity of continuing the jihad" against the Jewish state.

Israel faces an existential threat, but you and I may still have time to derail the pact, which faces resistance in the Senate. I urge you to join me in telling the Senate to "Stand with Israel—Reject the Catastrophic Iran Deal."
