The present Iranian Air Force is almost laughable. Iran has been cash strapped for years, a situation that has left their professional military stuck with antiquated equipment.

Most Iranian planes are leftovers from the 1960s and 1970s, remnants of a better and freer time in Iran. The last time Iran purchased a new military plane was nearly 30 years ago.

But that may well change, thanks to Joe Biden’s dangerous Iran Deal plans.

“Under the deal, Iran gets a financial package worth up to $275 billion in the first year and as much as $800 billion over the next five,” says Richard Goldberg, senior adviser of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, commenting on leaked “deal” details.

Ten billion dollars or more of that money will apparently go to Russia in exchange for new fighter jets. News reports have indicated that Iran and Russia are working on a deal to re-outfit Iran’s Air Force with enough new fighter jets to comprise an entire air wing.

Under the agreement, Russia will give Iran a military satellite, two advanced air defense missile systems and 24 brand-new Sukhoi Su-35SE “Super Flanker” fighter jets.

On Sunday, September 4, 2022, Iranian Air Force chief Hamid Vahedi confirmed to local media that the deal was, in fact, in the works.

That is a lot of military hardware for a country that keeps trying to claim that their intentions are only peaceful. Middle East experts are sounding the alarm.

“With a trillion dollars [about 3,100 dollars per person in the U.S.] available by 2030 for Iran’s missile program, sponsorship of terrorism and [the] Revolutionary Guard, the agreement enables Tehran to set a dozen more fires around the Middle East that force a U.S. response to defend American citizens, embassies and allies,” Goldberg says.

Israel is loudly sounding its own alarm. Standing next to a state-of-the-art Israeli F-35 fighter jet Tuesday morning, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid gave the ayatollah and Joe Biden a very stern three-word warning—“Don’t test us.”
