Israel will not be party to Joe Biden’s ill-conceived new “Iran Deal,” according to Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.

“On the table right now is a bad deal; it would give Iran $100 billion a year,” said PM Lapid in comments to the press. “This $100 billion a year that will be used to undermine stability in the Middle East and spread terror around the globe.”

“This money will fund the Revolutionary Guards,” the prime minister continued. “It will fund more attacks on American bases in the Middle East. It will be used to strengthen Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad. This money will go to the people who are trying to kill authors … in New York,” said Lapid, apparently referring to jihadist attempts on U.S.-based author Salman Rushdie’s life.

The Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini issued a fatwa against Rushdie in 1988 for writing a myth-shattering book concerning Islam, The Satanic Verses. The fatwa has never been repealed. As a result, just two weeks ago Rushdie was repeatedly stabbed and nearly killed by a jihadi while delivering a speech in New York City. Rushdie is now fighting for his life.

“The news is not good,” said Rushdie spokesman Andrew Wylie. “Salman will likely lose one eye; the nerves in his arm were severed; and his liver was stabbed and damaged.”

The ayatollah’s refusal to retract fatwas, like the one targeting Rushdie, reveals him to be a vicious leader pushing his country to war.

Biden’s massive financial gifts to the ayatollah “will be used to strengthen Iran’s nuclear program,” said the Israeli PM.

The truth is, Iran’s nuclear program has never been peaceful. If it were, the Iranians would have kept the original 2015 JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) agreement that limited them to just 3.67% uranium enrichment. But Iran has ignored those limitations over the years, now enriching uranium at 60%—just a short technical step away from developing a full-blown nuclear warhead.

Israel will not go quietly into Biden’s death trap of an agreement.

“We will act to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear state,” PM Lapid told reporters. “We are not prepared to live with a nuclear threat above our heads from an extremist, violent Islamist regime. This will not happen, because we will not let it happen.”

Israel needs our help right now. Joe Biden thinks that he will be able to skip the constitutionally required Senate approval of treaties by claiming this latest agreement is a continuation of his and Barack Obama’s failed 2015 JCPOA agreement. He prefers to simply ram it down the throats of America and Israel.
