Omar Attacks As Biden Leaves for Middle East
Joe Biden is FINALLY going to the Middle East. But Biden’s aim is not to strengthen Israel. Instead, he is meeting with the Palestinian “prime minister,” as rabid anti-Israel Congresswoman Ilhan Omar stokes the fires of Palestinian hatred in America.
Two pieces of dangerous legislation in the U.S. House seek to make the United States judge, jury and executioner for the nation of Israel. Rep. Omar (D-MN) and her cronies on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) “Squad” have their sights set on Israel’s destruction. It is up to you and me to force Congress to stand up to these antisemites and defend the Holy Land. Read on. — Mat

H.Res.1058, introduced by Ilhan Omar, calls on the U.S. to “become a full member of the International Criminal Court (ICC)”—a notoriously anti-Israel body currently prosecuting the Jewish state for alleged “war crimes.”
And that’s not all. Omar has also introduced HR 7522, a measure that, if passed, will create a new Office of Global Criminal Justice within the U.S. State Department.
Both measures are naked attempts to enhance or create institutional hammers with which the enemies of Israel—Omar included—can bludgeon the Jewish state on the international stage.
Just one year ago, Omar was publicly scolded by a handful of House Democrats for her blatant antisemitism and hatred of Israel. Omar had posted to social media an outrageous claim that the United States and Israel have committed “unthinkable atrocities.” Her tweet put the U.S. and Israel in the same category as terror organizations Hamas and the Taliban.

The unofficial House Jewish Caucus, led by Rep. Bradley Schneider (D-IL), issued a joint letter stating, in part:
Equating the United States and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban is as offensive as it is misguided. Ignoring the differences between democracies governed by the rule of law and contemptible organizations that engage in terrorism at best discredits one’s intended argument and at worst reflects deep-seated prejudice.
Eleven lawmakers—Reps. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA), Ted Deutch (D-FL), Lois Frankel (D-FL), Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), Elaine Luria (D-VA), Kathy E. Manning (D-NC), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Dean Phillips (D-MN), Kim Schrier (D-WA), Brad Sherman (D-CA) and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL)—signed the letter asking Omar to “clarify her words placing the U.S. and Israel in the same category as Hamas and the Taliban.”
But instead of softening her stance, Omar took the opportunity to call the Jewish Caucus members racist for condemning her obviously antisemitic actions.
“The Islamophobic tropes in this statement are offensive. The constant harassment and silencing from the signers of this letter is unbearable,” Omar wrote, still apparently oblivious to the fact that antisemitism is, in fact, racism.
“Squad” pal Cori Bush (D-MO) jumped on Ilhan’s racist victimhood cry, tweeting, “Enough with the anti-Blackness and Islamophobia.”

While we may expect such things from Omar and her fellow anti-Israel “Squad” mates, what disturbs me is the shockingly small number of members of Congress who are willing to condemn Omar’s blatant racism.
For example, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has yet to condemn Omar for her baseless and racist attacks. Instead of a repentant attitude, Omar is doubling down with the new pieces of legislation that would put the Jewish state at the whims of Israel haters worldwide.
That is why it is crucial for friends of Israel like you to SPEAK OUT against Omar’s rabid assault against Israel ... and to do so NOW. Please take a moment right now to fax Congress and make your voice heard!
Please also consider making a financial gift to support our ministry. When you give, you help us recruit and mobilize more pro-Israel Americans, you help us make the compelling case for Israel in Washington, and you raise up new ambassadors for Israel through our affiliated ministry, Covenant Journey, which takes promising young Christian leaders to Israel for transformational 10-day visits.
But we cannot do any of this without good friends like you. Please make your gift today.
Thank you for your friendship and your heart for Israel!
