You and I are witnessing Joe Biden’s slow surrender to Islamic terror. A serial appeaser, he is unwilling to impose punitive sanctions and threaten military force for Iran’s brazen threats and violence. And in so doing, Biden is marching the world into catastrophe.

But Israel is not joining the Biden-led death march. The Jewish state is preparing for war—a war it does not want. That is why recently resigned Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett urged the world to act against Iran.

“Without pressure from the West,” Bennett warned, “the Islamic regime in Iran could get their hands on a nuclear bomb very soon.”

And that is something Israel simply will not allow. The Jewish state, as Bennett made clear, will act alone if Biden and the international community fail the test.

The Jewish state is investing heavily to prepare for war and to harden its defenses at home:

• Israel held its largest military drill ever in May on Cyprus—rehearsing an aerial strike on the radical Islamic state’s nuclear sites. The drill deployed hundreds of planes to simulate hitting distant targets.

• Its F-35 stealth jets can now reach Iran without refueling.

• A revolutionary new laser defense system will, once deployed, intercept rockets, mortars and drones for just 2 dollars a hit.

• A new radar system can simultaneously track thousands of aerial threats—a game-changer for Israel’s defense.

But thankfully, the U.S. Senate has the power to stop this catastrophe before it begins in earnest.
