Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) recently introduced House Resolution 1123 to the House of Representatives. This dangerous piece of legislation demands America legitimize the LIE known in Islamic circles as the “Nakba,” which means “catastrophe” in Arabic.

The “Nakba” lie falsely insists that in 1948, the Jewish state forcefully removed some 750,000 Arabs from land that is now Israel. Further, the Nakba lie demands that all of those supposed Arab refugees and their descendants, now numbering more than 5 million, be allowed to return to Israel. The result would be the END of the Jewish state.

Tlaib’s resolution puts America squarely on the Palestinian side of the bitter dispute. It seeks to make it U.S. policy to:

• “Commemorate” the Nakba lie through “official recognition and remembrance.”
• “Reject ... denial of the Nakba.”
• “Encourage education ... of the facts of the Nakba.”
• “Support the implementation of Palestinian refugees’ rights."

Tlaib’s resolution is a thermonuclear strike aimed at Israel’s VERY EXISTENCE! It is an attempt to cut U.S. aid to Israel and sever the strong bond between our two nations.

And it must NOT go unanswered.

That is why we have created CIDI’s own resolution detailing the TRUTH about the so-called Nakba (catastrophe). This resolution defends Israel and demolishes the pack of lies in the Tlaib-introduced measure.

Will you please take a moment right now to sign our resolution and fax it to Congress? As friends of Israel, you and I must call on the U.S. House of Representatives to fully REPUDIATE Tlaib’s treacherous lies dressed up as well-documented facts.
