Rashida Tlaib's Vicious "Celebration"
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) cursed Israel in May, spewing rage against the Jewish state. But that’s not the worst of it. Read on to learn what the anti-Israel “Squad” is up to now and what we can do to protect the Holy Land from their dangerous antisemitism. —Mat
STOP THE LIES ABOUT ISRAEL! Sign our petition and fax Congress now!
Speaking at an anti-Israel “Nakba Day” rally in Dearborn, Michigan—a Muslim stronghold—the infamously antisemitic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib bitterly denounced the Jewish state for its “violence and oppression of a whole people”—meaning Palestinians.
It is crucial to know that “Nakba” is Arabic for “the catastrophe.” It is the term Palestinians use to defame and pour scorn on Israel’s modern rebirth on May 14, 1948.
Israelis celebrate their national birthday with barbecues, jet flyovers and even a Bible quiz in Jerusalem. But on Nakba Day, which falls each year on May 15, Palestinians lash out at Israel’s very existence.
And that’s exactly what Tlaib, a Palestinian-American, did at the anti-Israel hate-fest in Dearborn held, of course, on May 15.
Tlaib shared the rally stage with the publisher of what is called America’s largest and oldest Arab American newspaper—a paper that is pro-Hamas (the terror group intent on Israel’s destruction).
Speaking to a crowd filled with people waving Palestinian flags, the publisher fired off a belligerent call to arms against Israel . . .
- He praised Islamic militants for “striking [Israel] with knives and with their bare hands."
- He extolled the “heroic martyrs” who died so that “Palestine would be liberated and restored to the Arab nation."
- And he called on his pro-Palestinian audience to go to war against Israel! Some, he said, will “fight with stones ... guns ... planes, drones, and rockets, others will fight with their voices. ..."
Tlaib wasted no time in doing just that. The next day, she introduced a historic House resolution to bring the Palestinian war on Israel to our shores.
With the support of the “Squad”—Israel-haters like Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush and others—Tlaib is asking the U.S. House of Representatives to curse Israel, to remake America into a pro-Palestinian nation.
Tlaib’s House resolution calls on lawmakers to recognize the Nakba myth as fact. It slanders Israel, charging that the Jewish state in 1948 forcibly removed some 750,000 Arabs from what is now Israel.
And it claims that those Arab refugees—along with their descendants estimated to now number more than 5 million people—all have the “right of return” to Israel.
It’s an utter lie and a formula for destroying Israel. That so-called right of return, if it ever happened, would alter Israel’s demography and turn the Jewish state into a Palestinian state ... and put an end to Israel.
But that is EXACTLY what Tlaib wants!
Please help us stop the assault on Israel NOW by signing our petition and faxing Congress our powerful resolution defending the Holy Land.
