Israel Braces for Palestinian "Day of Rage"

Tomorrow, while we are enjoying the freedom we still have in America—though increasingly threatened under Joe Biden’s radical administration—Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip will be engaging in a “Day of Rage” against Israel. Ahead of this expected assault, Israel is reinforcing its military presence along its southern border.

Israel announced Thursday it had reached an agreement with the Gulf nation of Qatar to resume aid payments to thousands of families in the Gaza Strip. But Hamas is complaining the aid isn’t coming fast enough and has threatened violence against Israel once again.

Israel is demanding the funds be sent via wire transfer to ensure spending goes to rebuilding civilian infrastructure in Gaza rather than Hamas’ infrastructure.

Earlier this week, terrorists launched a single rocket into Israel, causing sirens to sound in Sderot and other Western Negev communities. Israel’s Iron Dome did its job and intercepted it, and no casualties or damage were reported. It was the first rocket fired from Gaza since the 11-day war in May, when Israel’s “Operation Guardian of the Walls” ended.

With violence always a concern in Israel’s neighborhood, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett plans to meet with Joe Biden on August 26, according to a White House statement released Wednesday.

The visit between the two leaders is intended to strengthen the relationship between the U.S. and Israel and emphasize the U.S. commitment to Israel’s security.

Bennett, who took office in June, and Biden are expected to speak about regional and global security, including Iran and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“The visit will also be an opportunity for the two leaders to discuss efforts to advance peace, security and prosperity for Israelis and Palestinians, and the importance of working towards a more peaceful and secure future for the region,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s statement read.

But is America now truly committed to the peace and prosperity of its ally Israel? If the Biden administration’s conduct toward our allies in Afghanistan is any indication, Israel will have to be convinced.

Biden and his pro-Palestinian advisers want to resurrect the disastrous 2015 Iran Deal that will directly harm Israel. Biden may need a Plan B if new Iranian president, Ebrahim Raisi, declines to go along with the original nuclear deal. Either way, Iran is intent on Israel’s destruction as it has always been.

Iran is now enriching uranium up to 60%—a grade needed only when preparing to build nuclear weapons—and preventing inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The IAEA’s May 31 report on Iran's nuclear activity is full of unanswered questions. But IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi states there are four locations where uranium particles have been found, but Iran is keeping mum.

“We found traces of uranium that has been subject to industrial processing in different places, which had not been declared by Iran,” Grossi said in an interview. “That is a big problem.” And it’s only one of Israel’s big problems.
