Christians in Defense of Israel and many other groups are deeply concerned about Biden’s policy regarding Israel and the Middle East. On Monday, in a live speech before a tiny, prearranged audience of four, Biden forgot the name of his own defense secretary—who was standing right beside him.

Stumbling for several moments and failing to even remember what department the secretary represented, Biden finally referred to the man simply as “the guy who runs that outfit over there.”

And our allies are noticing, too. Tuesday, the British newspaper Daily Mail noted that “no president in the last century has gone this long without taking questions from reporters.”

Biden increasingly seems to be hidden from the American public, except for rare, televised speeches before controlled audiences. No reporters are present, no questions allowed.

Apparently, Biden is hidden from our allies as well. It took a month for him to call Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. No president in modern history has waited so long to call the Israeli prime minister.

So why is Biden hiding? Perhaps he simply does not want to explain why he is betraying America’s best ally in the volatile Middle East.

Tragically, the man who now sits in the Oval Office is desperate to revive the disastrous 2015 Iran nuclear deal he helped push through as Barack Obama’s vice president.

If Biden succeeds, Iran is certain to obtain nuclear weapons.

And that will force Israel to act alone to stop Iran … pushing the Middle East to the brink of war.

Biden’s reckless effort to revive the nuclear pact is pure appeasement. He is trying to reopen talks on the deal even as the tyrants of Tehran are:

• Ramping up nuclear enrichment to 20% (a small step away from weapons-grade material).
• Adding 1,000 new centrifuges.
• Limiting U.N. nuclear inspectors.
• And even developing uranium metal—a key component for nuclear weapons.

And Iran has one aim in mind: The Bomb. For the Israel-hating, radical Islamic regime, nuclear weapons are the “solution” to what former Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani called its “Israel problem.” As this founding father of modern Islamic Iran explained in 2001, “the use of a nuclear bomb in Israel will leave nothing on the ground.”

Unfazed by credible threats like that, Biden is pushing ahead to reenter the failed nuclear agreement. If he succeeds, Iran’s radical Islamic rulers will have an open path to a nuclear arsenal once the agreement ends in less than a decade.

And because the agreement does nothing to stop Iran’s rocket program, Iran will also have the long-range nuclear-tipped missiles it needs to “raze Tel Aviv and Haifa.”

Joe Biden can hide from the American public, the press and our allies, but he cannot hide from the U.S. Senate. And the Senate holds the power to stop Biden’s misguided Iran Deal.

Iran’s sabers are rattling and Israel is in clear and present danger. But the Israelis are ready to defend themselves should her greatest ally, America, fail her.
