For the past 12 days, Joe Biden has seemingly been on a mission to undo every single policy enacted by the Trump administration. In few policies is this more evident than for relations with Israel.
Despite the colossal failure of the 2015 “Iran Deal,” which Biden helped oversee during his tenure as Vice President, he has put the original architects of the deal back in charge.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Biden’s envoy to Iran, Robert Malley, are largely credited with writing the original Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, aka the Iran Deal. Malley, who directly negotiated the deal in 2015, will again be handling the Iran negotiations.

The Associated Press reports that Iran hawks are “aghast” as Malley’s anti-Israel proclivities will once again destabilize the Middle East, shattering the fragile peace the Trump administration just finished building. Critics believe that the Biden/Blinken/Malley trio may be willing to sacrifice the security of Israel and our Gulf state allies just to appease Iran.
In December, Saudi Arabia’s former Ambassador to the United States, Prince Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, implored Biden NOT to re-enter the Iran nuclear deal.
“While we all aspire to have Iran back as a normal peaceful nation-state within the international community, the last forty years’ experience with the Iranian regime is not encouraging,” said Faisal.
The Prince went on to say that re-entering the Iran deal “would not do service to stability in our region.” Warning the Biden administration not to “return to previous mistakes,” the Prince predicted negotiations would end in little more than capitulation to what the Prince called “Iranian blackmail” ...just like in 2015.
The last time Joe Biden dealt with the Iranians, he handed over $4 billion in hard-earned American taxpayer dollars and wound up with a nearly nuclear Iran. We cannot let this happen again.
