Shocking Attack On Jewish Activist
U of M must take action against student’s violent attack on a Jewish activist
Sunday, a University of Michigan (U of M) student went on an expletive-filled rant as she physically attacked a Jewish rights activist and a conservative commentator who had been peacefully speaking on campus regarding Iran’s abuse of women.
Jewish victim Liz Benichou spent most of her night in the hospital.
But her attacker, U of M student Temulun Togochog, went free.

Temulun Togochog apparently didn’t like the facts she heard about women’s lack of rights in Iran. So, she did what too many deranged leftists do these days — she violently attacked the Jewish woman and conservative man delivering those facts.
Togochog began her rampage by storming up to the table where conservative commentator Joe Redden sat, repeatedly smacking Redden in the face with her phone because she did not like his fact-based comments about Iran.
Togochog then marched over to Jewish activist Liz Benichou. Rather than dispute Benichou’s comments about how Iranian women are treated, Togochog attacked, shoving Benicou to the ground and stomping on her.
It took several grown men to pull Togochog off her Jewish victim.
When campus police arrived, Togochog tried to flee from the officer. Once caught, she resisted arrest and continued her expletive-laden rant against her Jewish victim.
Even as Togochog was being put into the police cruiser, she made repeated threats to murder Benichou, stating, “I should have ******* killed you when I had the chance, you f****** c***.”
And in case anyone had misunderstood, Togochog, expanded her threat, screaming, "I’ve already been to a mental hospital, and I'll go again if it means killing you first.”
But despite violently assaulting two people on campus, attempting to flee from a police officer, resisting arrest, and making repeated death threats to the Jewish victim even after she was put in handcuffs, U of M refuses to follow its own written policies that state the perpetrator, Temulun Togochog, must be expelled.
THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN'S OWN POLICIES DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY.
-
Section IV(A), Statement of Student Rights and Responsibilities: Prohibits physically harming or threatening another person in a manner that would cause a reasonable person to fear for their physical safety.
-
Section IV(V): Specifically addresses misconduct motivated by bias or prejudice, including religious bias, and permits enhanced disciplinary consequences.
-
SPG 601.18, Violence in the University Community: Expressly states that the University will not tolerate violent and threatening behavior. It identifies physical assault, aggressive conduct, and threats of harm as examples of misconduct.
-
Fundamental Tenets Statement: Recognizes the autonomy of individual conscience in matters of religious faith and political belief.
The university's disciplinary framework authorizes suspension and permanent expulsion for serious violations. It also provides for emergency suspension when a student's conduct poses an immediate danger to others.
Americans are sick and tired of the lunatic left’s irrational antisemitic political violence.
We are also sick and tired of university systems that promote and protect the violent perpetrators.
