Keep America's Promise Alive

America Welcomed the Jewish People. Don’t Let That Change.

As America celebrates 250 years of freedom, I find myself especially thankful for one of the greatest chapters in our nation's history.

From our nation’s founding, America has been a place where Jewish people could worship freely, build businesses, raise families, and contribute their extraordinary talents to the country they came to love.

Today, New York is home to the largest Jewish population outside Israel. Miami is second. Together, these communities — and countless others across America — have helped build the remarkable nation we celebrate today.

But that legacy is under attack.

Will you help defend America's friendship with the Jewish people? Your generous single gift or even a modest recurring monthly donation today will help CIDI fight rising antisemitism and strengthen support for Israel in Washington and across our nation. And to thank you, I'll send you printed copies of our best books FREE.

For generations, America stood apart as a beacon of hope for Jewish immigrants. From the "golden door" celebrated by Emma Lazarus to thriving Jewish neighborhoods, businesses, charities, and synagogues, our country offered something precious: safety and opportunity.

In return, Jewish Americans helped shape nearly every part of American life — from medicine and science to finance, entertainment, education, military service, philanthropy, and public leadership.

We should be profoundly grateful.

Yet today, many Jewish Americans no longer feel the security their parents and grandparents once knew.

Violent demonstrations outside synagogues, harassment on college campuses, open displays of hatred, and political leaders who excuse or minimize antisemitism are creating a climate of fear.

According to a 2024 survey by the American Jewish Committee, nearly nine out of ten American Jews say they feel less safe than they did just one year earlier. More than one in ten have seriously considered leaving the United States within the past five years because of antisemitism.

America must never become a country where Jewish families wonder whether they still belong.

That is why CIDI is working every day to expose antisemitism, educate Americans about our nation's historic friendship with Israel, and encourage lawmakers to stand with our greatest ally in the Middle East.

As America marks its 250th birthday, we have an opportunity — and a responsibility — to renew our commitment to the values that made this nation a refuge for the persecuted and a steadfast friend of the Jewish people.

Please make your most generous gift today. Together, we can help ensure America remains a place where Jewish families flourish — not one they feel compelled to leave.

And when you give, I'll send you our special books celebrating America's extraordinary pro-Israel heritage as my way of saying thank you.

May God continue to bless America, bless Israel, and bless you for standing with the Jewish people at this pivotal moment.
