My inbox is flooded with the pleading cries of Israelis, shocked by President Trump’s apparent betrayal, via the upcoming Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), of not only Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but also the Israeli and innocent Iranian people.

These aren’t American Jews, blinded by years of participation with the Democrat Party, but Israelis who must live or die by the consequences of our actions (or lack thereof) in the Middle East.

Israeli entrepreneur and writer Paula R. Stern recently aptly expressed the dismay I have heard from so many of my Israeli friends.

Today, we are alone. The world is celebrating a "peace" agreement that we know will bring no peace. Trump is, to his core, a businessman...and today, he has been duped by the shuk mentality that is well known in this region.

The Iranians who took to the streets praying for the West to help return their land to them are as abandoned as we are.

Trump has proudly announced, "This historic agreement will bring peace and security to the entire region." Nonsense. Truly nonsense.

And so today, Israel is alone.

We are alone. As we have been for centuries; as we were when we walked out of the land of Egypt. As we were when we walked out of the ghettoes and the concentration camps. But you see, the secret of the Jews is that no matter where we go, we are never alone because we have each other.

The future is not in Trump's hands but in God's hands. Whether Trump has abandoned Israel (I actually don't think so), we know...we know God has not.

On January 13, 2026, President Trump encouraged the Iranian people to take to the streets because “Help is on the way.”

It took five weeks for President Trump to actually send that help. Tens of thousands of Iranians were mowed down by the ayatollah’s forces in the meantime.

Now Trump’s “help” apparently consists of a Memorandum of Understanding that not only allows the ayatollah to stay in power, but also is highly unlikely to stop his nuclear ambitions.

The only REAL way to help the Iranian and Israeli people is to finish the job in Iran – remove the ayatollah and all of his minions from power.

Until that is accomplished, Israelis like Paula, and frankly the entire world, remain in danger.
