UN Double Speak
The United Nations has become an Orwellian nightmare
It’s time for us to stop funding it.
Some days it seems like the United Nations is stuck in an Orwellian novel where right is wrong and reason has been turned upside down.
How else could one describe an alleged “body for peace” which put Iran — the very same nation that brutalizes women and brazenly seeks a nuclear weapon on Women’s Rights and Nuclear Proliferation Deterrence panels?
And WE, the American taxpayers, are funding this madness!
Time for that to end. HR 8595 SLASHES the U.N. budget. Let’s make sure Congress passes it!
Championing women’s rights?
Iran’s evil rulers mercilessly crushed a nationwide protest movement in January. They deployed goons armed with machine guns, sniper rifles, and shotguns to massacre more than 36,000 innocent Iranians — men, women, and children — on city streets.
But instead of charging Iran with genocide, the U.N. placed Iran on a panel tasked with advancing women’s rights, disarmament, and terrorism prevention.
Yet Iran brutally subjugates women, kills protesters, and spends billions in a maniacal quest to rain nuclear “death” on Israel and America!
But it gets worse. In April, the U.N. gave Iran a role in stopping the spread of nuclear weapons, naming it one of 34 nations to lead a U.N. nuclear nonproliferation conference! All while Iran blocks weapons inspectors and sits on a stockpile of nearly 1,000 pounds of highly enriched uranium — enough for 10 nuclear bombs!
Iran was just TWO WEEKS from developing nuclear warheads when Trump and Netanyahu bombed their facilities. But the U.N. keeps pretending Iran is not a threat!
