The war quickly went badly for Israel. By July 1948, 70% of Israel was overrun by Arab forces. But the “threats of the Jordanians of a momentous massacre that would dwarf what Hitler had done didn’t come to pass,” he said, adding . . .

I honestly believe it was the strong arm of the Almighty that really saved the day for Israel and its forces in the war.

Since then and until today, Israel has triumphed improbably in wars against powerful genocidal enemies . . .

• In May 1967, Egypt’s President Abdel Nasser threatened, "our basic objective will be to destroy Israel." And Syria's defense minister, Hafez al-Assad, declared the time had come “to take the initiative in destroying the Zionist presence in the Arab homeland.”

• But in its miraculous June 1967 Six-Day War, Israel routed Egypt and Syria and regained full control of Jerusalem for the first time in 2,000 years.

• The world witnessed the improbable happen again six years later in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, a conflict in which Israel’s very existence hung in the balance.

• And since October 7, 2023, Israel, against all odds, is triumphing again in its existential fight against Iran and its terror forces, Hamas and Hezbollah.

Despite all this, hate for Israel is exploding. Absurd and poisonous anti-Israel libels pass as truth in the media and the minds of millions. People from left to right — from Ilhan Omar to Candace Owens — smear and slander Israel.

Pakistan’s defense minister recently labeled Israel an “evil and a curse for humanity,” accusing the Jewish state of committing “genocide’ against Lebanon. And doing so just as Islamabad was set to host talks between the U.S., Israel, and Iran!

But together, we can defeat the lies, defend the truth, and stand with Israel.
