The U.N.’s reckless decision would be laughable if it weren’t so terrifying.

Iran’s leaders have openly declared their desire to wipe Israel off the map and have threatened America with destruction. Yet the U.N. has handed them influence over a process supposedly designed to prevent nuclear war. This isn’t merely irresponsible — it’s morally bankrupt.

Thankfully, members of Congress are pushing back. Republicans have introduced provisions in the upcoming Appropriations bill to defund the United Nations, cutting off U.S. taxpayer support for an institution that repeatedly empowers our enemies.

If we are serious about stopping Iran’s nuclear ambitions and protecting Israel and the United States, Congress must pass these defunding measures.

Fax Congress right now and demand they DEFUND the U.N.

The mission of the NPT committee is meant to discourage nuclear weapons, promote peaceful energy cooperation, and advance disarmament. Iran has proven time and again that it has no intention of honoring these goals. Giving Tehran a leadership role isn’t “diplomacy” — it’s surrender.

This isn’t the first time the U.N. has rewarded Iran. Not long ago, the regime was appointed to a women’s rights body despite its brutal treatment of women, including state-sanctioned violence for “moral” violations. The pattern is clear.

And American taxpayers are funding it.

The United States supplies roughly 22% of the U.N.’s regular budget and 25% of its peacekeeping operations — billions of dollars that prop up an organization actively working against U.S. interests and Israel’s security.
