When Muslim socialist Zohran Mamdani won New York’s mayoral race last November, his euphoric followers proclaimed, “Now this is our time,” called for sharia, and celebrated an “Islamic caliphate of New York.”

In parts of New York City, the Muslim call to prayer now sounds out from loudspeakers at 5 a.m., declaring “Allahu akbar” (Allah is greater). Sharia is also taking ground in Texas, which now has some 300 mosques. One Muslim complex, the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC), wants to build a new Muslim-only community governed by sharia.

And Islam is also infiltrating the schools. The National Education Association promotes World Hijab Day, urging girls nationwide to don a Muslim head covering and become sharia-compliant for a day.

All this is not accidental or innocent. The founder of the Muslim Brotherhood proclaimed: “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”

That’s the agenda behind Muslim wake-up calls, “fun” wear-a-hijab days, and Muslim enclaves like EPIC.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) calls the sharia threat to the U.S. “existential” and has introduced legislation in the House to ban sharia-based law in the U.S. According to Roy:

From Texas to every state in the union, instances of Sharia Law adherence have threatened the American way of life, seeking to replace our legal system and Constitution with an incompatible ideology that diminishes the rights of women, children, and individuals of different faiths.
