House Bill Seeks To Protect Iranians

Legislation seeks to protect Iranians

But we must act NOW!

After weeks of mass protests in Iran — during which over 16,500 protesters were killed, 330,000 injured, and tens of thousands arrested — many Iranians believed U.S. military intervention was imminent. U.S. troops were repositioned, and President Trump publicly told Iranian demonstrators that “help is on its way.” However, after Iran signaled that executions of protesters would pause, the U.S. abruptly halted its intervention plans ... and Iran went back to slaughtering innocent, unarmed, and mostly female citizens.

Stopping the Iranian regime not only stops the slaughter of innocent people, but it also protects Israel and the United States from these suicidal monsters.

HR 2614 — the Maximum Support Act — can help the Iranian people IF we can get Congress to pass it. Take a stand for the Iranian people and demand Congress VOTE YES on HR 2614!

Iranians risking their lives on the streets now feel “abandoned and discouraged” by the sudden U.S. pullback, which dashed widespread expectations that American support would help restrain the regime.

Protesters, who had interpreted U.S. messaging as a promise of assistance, are left facing the crackdown alone — leading to widespread feelings of deep disappointment, helplessness, and betrayal.

HR 2614 seeks to change that. Specifically, the legislation would require the U.S. government to enact:

  • A series of enhanced internet security measures allowing for greater communication and coordination between Iranian protesters. It would also facilitate Iranians’ ability to access the outside world by providing Virtual Private Networks (VPN) in the face of internet filtering.

  • Satellite-to-cell technology aimed at circumventing the government’s routine internet blackouts.

  • A strategy to facilitate and manage regime defections aimed at gutting the regime’s will to continue its heavy-handed crackdowns.

  • An asset forfeiture and redistribution program to use illicitly generated Iranian funds in U.S. jurisdiction to support humanitarian assistance and nonviolent protests.

  • Terrorism sanctions against the regime’s transnational criminal repression apparatus — such as its Ministry of Intelligence — which has been deployed against Iranian dissidents in Iran and in the diaspora.

Every day, brave Iranians risk their lives to speak out against repression, demand basic human rights, and fight for a future built on dignity and freedom. Their voices are powerful — but they are constantly silenced by internet blackouts, digital surveillance, brutal crackdowns, and a regime determined to isolate them from the world.

HR 2614 offers critical tools that empower Iranian citizens, protect peaceful protesters, and disrupt the regime’s machinery of repression. This legislation is a lifeline — but it needs YOUR SUPPORT to move forward.

By faxing this petition, you’re sending a powerful message to Congress and the Iranian people:

We see you. We hear you. And we will not ignore your fight for freedom.

Your much-needed gift now will help make our pro-Israel voice even louder across America and on Capitol Hill. Your support enables Covenant Journey to take college-age Christian leaders to Israel to strengthen their faith and equip them to be goodwill ambassadors for Israel.

You are making a difference as you give! Please give generously to bless and defend Israel!
