This Is An Unrealistic Prerequisite
Dependence on Hamas’ Disarmament —
An Unrealistic Prerequisite
President Trump has promised to redevelop Gaza, creating a “Board of Peace” to implement the plan. But the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) is loaded with Israel’s sworn enemies, and its prerequisites reveal a startling and dangerous naivete about the realities in the Middle East.
The plan puts Hamas supporters Qatar and Turkey in charge, while Israel must withdraw from Gaza before Hamas is disarmed. It’s outrageous that Trump even suggested putting Russian warmonger Vladimir Putin on the board! The plan pretends the terrorists will simply play nice in exchange for some luxury seaside development opportunities. Even Arab outlets now agree the plan is “doomed to fail.”
Demand Congress — and common sense — intervene!
STOP Trump’s “Board of Peace Destruction”! NOTE “peace” intentionally struck through for publication
One of the Trump plan’s core assumptions is that Hamas will willingly disarm to allow the NCAG to establish security authority. However, 70% of Hamas’s tunnel infrastructure remains intact, and there is no evidence that the group is prepared to surrender its military capability. In fact, the terror group steadfastly REFUSES to give up its arms.
Any post-war governance plan must begin — not end — with full disarmament of Hamas. Yet the Board’s sequencing reverses this logic, placing reconstruction and administrative governance ahead of realistic security guarantees.
Moreover, Hamas has repeatedly undermined stabilization efforts and remains deeply embedded in Gaza’s institutional and civil frameworks. Analysts have questioned how any new administrative committee could manage the 40,000-50,000 Hamas-affiliated civil servants who, in effect, run local governance.
Any peace mechanism that relies on Hamas’ compliance is untenable — especially when Hamas backers Turkey and Qatar, and now ex-KGB official turned Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, have leadership roles on the so-called “Board of Peace.”
Trump has done a lot of wonderful things for Israel. But this “Board of Peace” development “deal” reveals Trump’s ignorance on the realities of the Middle East and a disturbing reliance on people who seek to undermine the State of Israel at any cost.
Please join me now in demanding Congress and the Administration STOP this MADNESS! Protect Israel! STOP the Board of “Peace”!
