Jimmy Carter looked the other way when the ayatollah, his murderous mullahs, and their Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps robbed the Iranian people of their freedom in 1979.

Prior to 1979, Iran was as free as the West. There were no dress codes, Persian women dressed as fashionably as any woman in Paris. Women were allowed to drive, girls were allowed to go to school, and no one was forced to obey Sharia — aka brutal Islamic law. The government was secular-leaning, and Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians were allowed to practice their faith freely.

When the Shia Islam-practicing clerics took over in 1979, Jimmy Carter turned a blind eye, refusing to act even when the Islamists kidnapped Americans.

When the Iranian people tried to rise up in the 2009 “Green Revolution,” Barack Obama, on behest of his Iranian-born personal adviser Valerie Jarrett, chose to cut ties with CIA contacts there so as to let the would-be freedom revolution die.

When the Iranian people tried to rise up again in 2022 after a beautiful young girl was butchered in the street for allowing a strand of hair to escape her hijab, sleepy Joe Biden mumbled a few words of support, but then apparently went back to napping.

The people of Iran are putting their lives on the line, again, in the pursuit of freedom—and we must not look away.

Their latest bid for freedom began December 28, 2025. Iranians took to the streets to protest the collapse in the value of Iranian currency and the ensuing economic chaos.

By early January, protests had spread into at least 185 cities, across all 31 Iranian provinces.

As of January 14, more than 2,600 Iranians had been killed by the ayatollah's goons, more than in any other protest since the clerics seized power in 1979, according to the U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA). The ayatollah is threatening to kill even more, claiming protesters will be publicly hung for daring to demonstrate.

For years, brave Iranians — women, youth, workers, and families — have taken to the streets demanding fundamental rights, representative government, and an end to the oppressive rule they have been forced to endure. Their peaceful demonstrations have been met with harsh crackdowns, widespread detention, and deadly force.

The Iranian population has spoken with remarkable clarity: They no longer accept the current system of governance and are calling for a peaceful and orderly transition to a free, democratic, and secular society — just like they had prior to the ayatollah’s takeover in 1979.

The ayatollah is the most destabilizing factor in the Middle East. For 47 years, his regime has funded and trained terrorists all over the world to attack both Israel and America, as well as his own citizens.

The Iranian people despise him.
