The Israel Defense Forces had nothing to do with Maduro’s capture in Caracas, Venezuela, on January 3, 2026. Neither is there any reason to believe that Israel’s intelligence agency, the Mossad, was involved.

Nicolas Maduro was a subway bus driver before being installed as bloody dictator Hugo Chavez’s replacement in 2013. Chavez and Maduro’s reigns had been so bloody that over 1 million Venezuelans fled for their lives, seeking asylum in the United States.

Almost immediately after Maduro’s capture by U.S. Special Forces, Candace declared that the Trump administration had “staged another hostile takeover of a country at the behest of a [sic] globalist psychopaths. That’s what is happening, always, everywhere,” Owens continues. “Zionists cheer every regime change. There has never been a single regime change that Zionists have not applauded because it means they get to steal land, oil, and other resources.”

Commentator Stew Peters chimed in, noting that the U.S. had captured Maduro to appease their “Israeli masters.”

Yet another commentator claimed: “At the end of the day, Trump is a Jewish puppet.”

Another Jewish commentator, whom I will not elevate by name, was more blunt about the focus of their hatred, claiming that “Jews” forced Trump to “take out Maduro” because Maduro had supposedly banned the “Jewish values” of pornography and usury.

These accusations are so appalling that I’m almost surprised these Jew-haters didn’t use the age-old accusation that Jews wanted to make matzo balls out of Venezuelan children’s blood.

Clearly, these claims are crazy. But that doesn’t mean Congress isn’t listening. Congressional Democrats have been working to alienate Americans from the Jewish state for years. Activists like those mentioned above seek to alienate Americans from Jews. And Congress has a tendency to go soft whenever a faction, even an illogical faction, screams too loud.

WE need to be the faction screaming loudest in this contest to ensure Congress does not go soft on Israel or abandon our Jewish friends.
