What is Trump doing with a Palestinian State
UN passes US-led “path to Palestinian State”
On MONDAY, the United Nations passed Resolution 2803, a U.S.-led resolution to end the war in Gaza. But as always, the devil is in the details, because the resolution establishes a path to a “Palestinian State.”
Ahead of the U.N. vote, a coalition of Arab nations issued a joint statement supporting the resolution. Though Trump’s previous Gaza Peace Agreement referred to a Palestinian state as a possibility, this new statement, led by the U.S. and signed by Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Turkey, Jordan, Indonesia, and Pakistan, refers to the creation of a Palestinian state as a forgone conclusion.
This approach revives the long-standing “Two-State Solution,” a policy that would carve out a Palestinian state from within the heart of Israel.
Demand Congress STOP any and all U.S. plans to reward Hamas with a Palestinian state.
Did the Saudis force Trump’s hand?
The U.N. resolution calls for an international force in Gaza and frames Palestinian independence as essential to regional peace. Though President Trump previously claimed that he was “undecided” about establishing a Palestinian state, the shift in policy appears to be led by the Saudis, who are insisting that a Palestinian state must be created to gain their support for peace in Gaza.
But establishing a so-called Palestinian state WILL result in ethnic cleansing, removing the Jewish people from lands they have lived in for centuries. Much like what happened in Gaza after the Oslo Accords, the land will then be taken over by a heavily armed Arab entity with its capital in a Muslim-only Jerusalem.
Such a plan would effectively require Israel to revert to its pre-1967 borders, which, as the 1967 war proved, are largely indefensible. Moreover, it would violate the Oslo Accords, which stipulate that any resolution regarding disputed territories must come through direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
STOP U.S. plans for a Two-State Solution!
NEITHER the Israelis, nor Hamas, accept the deal.
After passage, representatives for Hamas immediately rejected the deal. The terror group made an announcement on social media rejecting an international security force, and even more tellingly, announced that it will REFUSE to disarm.
"Resisting the occupation by all means is a legitimate right guaranteed by international laws and conventions," said Hamas, referring to their imagined “right” to continue committing jihad.
Prime Minister Netanyahu has stood firm: “A Palestinian state west of the Jordan will not be established. It will not happen.” He reminded the world that he has resisted enormous pressure to prevent the creation of a terror state, and the measures he is taking to ensure the security of Jews in the cities of Judea and Samaria, which have been Jewish cities since time immemorial.
Now is the time to act.
I don’t know who in the Trump administration is pushing a “Two State Solution,” which rewards Hamas by kicking Jews out of their historical homeland, but it needs to stop NOW.
Together, let’s call on Congress to recognize Israel’s right to sovereignty over all of the land God promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Please fax Congress and demand members oppose any U.S. support for a Two-State Solution. The future of Israel’s security — and the integrity of U.S. foreign policy — depends on it.
