Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove of Manhattan’s Park Avenue Synagogue opened last weekend’s Shabbat services with a dire warning: “Shabbat shalom. To be clear, unequivocal, and on the record, I believe Zohran Mandami poses a danger to the security of the New York Jewish community.”

“Jews are putting their New York properties on the market as fast as they possibly can,” says one real estate professional who spoke to CIDI anonymously.

“There is a general feeling that it is no longer safe to be a Jew in New York city. So those that can are fleeing for Jewish-friendly cities like Miami,” our source continues.

Billionaire real estate mogul Barry Sternlicht, whose father and grandfather narrowly survived the Holocaust, told reporters he is pulling his companies out of New York because Mamdani’s policies will “turn New York City into Mumbai."

Israeli politicians and rabbis are sounding the alarm as well.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir described Mamdani’s win as “antisemitism’s triumph over common sense,” labeling the newly elected mayor “a supporter of Hamas, a hater of Israel and an avowed anti-semite.”

“The city, which used to be the symbol of world freedom, handed over its keys to a Hamas supporter,” said Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli.

Mamdani’s win represents a “a critical turning point for the city of New York,” according to Chikli, which “shakes the very foundations of the place that offered freedom and opportunity to countless Jewish refugees.” Chikli begged New York Jews to make “aliyah” (migrate to Israel) for their own safety.

But the problem isn’t just in New York.

CAIR’s involvement in politics is growing. CAIR-funded and affiliated PACs are funding radical Muslim politicians across the entire United States.

Last Tuesday, CAIR backed 76 candidates nationwide; 38 of them won.

That’s a 50% success rate in CAIR’s quest to Islamize America.

“CAIR is actively pushing an Islamization strategy in the U.S. by promoting Muslim candidates — especially within migrant communities,” says Middle East commentator Brother Rasheed. Both CAIR and Al Jazeera are “celebrating” CAIR’s astonishing 50% win rate last week, according to Rasheed. “They clearly plan to scale this strategy further. It’s a growing pattern, and you’ll see it replicated across the U.S. and Europe.”

The Islamization of America is already evident in cities like Dearborn, Michigan — a city in which residents are now awakened at 4:30 every morning by loudspeaker-adorned mosques blaring calls to prayer. How long before America has “Sharia No-Go zones” similar to those in the British isles, where imams and Islamic law judges rule entire neighborhoods, superseding British law with Sharia and silencing Christians by Muslim-backed “hate speech” laws?

Congress must act now to protect not only American Jews, but every American from the cancer of sharia growing in our midst.
