Israel's Ancient and Airtight Claim
Pro-Israel Bill Needs Public Pressure to Pass
The “West Bank” is a term invented by the Jordanian government in 1950. The kingdom introduced the term after Jordan invaded Israel and seized Judea and Samaria. The name change was intended to upend thousands of years of history, erase Israel, and replace it with Islamic rule.
Jordan lost its ill-gotten territorial gains in the 1967 Six-Day War, but the name stuck. And the reason is simple: “West Bank” supports the Palestinian land claim and denies the manifest truth about the Jewish people’s ancient and airtight claim to their God-given land inheritance.
But two bills in Congress can restore God’s will for the area known as the breadbasket of the Holy Land — the Recognizing Judea and Samaria Act, aka HR 902 and S 384.
HR 902 and S 384 seek to restore Israel’s identity and its claim over its own land. Demand Congress VOTE YES on the “Recognizing Judea and Samaria Act” of 2025.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) SHOCKED many in her testimony before Congress on January 22, 2025.
Stefanik, a fierce critic of antisemitism on university campuses and at the U.N., told Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) that she emphatically believes, as she told him in a prior one-on-one conversation, “that Israel has a biblical right to the entire West Bank”!
Those are STUNNING words in the mouth of an American congresswoman. And she’s not alone.
That same day, the man who was about to be confirmed as America’s ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, echoed her words — and he didn’t hold back. Speaking to Fox News, Huckabee declared:
Israel has a right to its autonomous, indigenous homeland that they’ve had for 3,500 years since the days of Abraham. It’s the land that God gave, and it’s a blessing to be a part of this land.
Huckabee added that he refuses to use the term “West Bank."
There is no such thing. I refer to it as Judea and Samaria. There is no “occupation.” The land is occupied by the people who have had a rightful deed to it for 3,500 years, since the time of Abraham.
Huckabee stressed that it’s up to Israel, not the U.S., to assert its rightful claim to sovereignty over Judea and Samaria — the territory south and north of Jerusalem. “That’s a decision for Israel to make, not for the United States to impose it on them,” he insisted.
Restore Israel’s rightful heritage!
Many Israelis are ready to do so. A surprising 68% want Israel to assert sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, according to a January poll.
Thank God Huckabee was confirmed as ambassador to Israel!
But there is something the U.S. can and MUST do now to support Israeli sovereignty: STOP using the slanted pro-Palestinian term “West Bank.”
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) calls it “a slap in the face to historical truth.” That’s why he and Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) introduced Senate and House measures to force the federal government to use the term “Judea and Samaria” and NEVER “West Bank.”
Their bill, “Recognizing Judea and Samaria Act,” is a critical step toward U.S. recognition of Israel’s biblical, historical, and legal right to its biblical heartland.
Demand Congress VOTE YES on the “Recognizing
Judea and Samaria Act” of 2025.
