Over the last two decades, the Palestinians destroyed the farms and greenhouses the former Israeli residents had left behind. Instead, they built tunnels to move terrorists into Israeli territory and imprison Jewish hostages. The Palestinian people in Gaza continue to elect Hamas as their leadership in every election, and they educate their children to become martyrs.

A shocking personal example of hate. . .

As you know, Covenant Journey (of which CIDI is part) hosts tours of the Holy Land for students and adults. Over the years, we have formed close relationships with many Israelis. One of those Israelis, Yitzhak*, shared a story that illustrates the Palestinian problem all too well.

Yitzhak’s young son was kicking a soccer ball with a Palestinian (Arab Muslim) neighbor child. Seeing the boy’s father nearby, Yitzhak remarked, “This is what we dream of, isn’t it? That our children will grow up to be neighbors and friends living in peace?”

The Palestinian Muslim’s response was shocking. “The only reason we don’t destroy you is because we do not have the power. But when we do, we will destroy you.” My friend Yitzak shared this story to illustrate the mindset of these people.

For generations now, the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have been teaching their children to hate and kill Jews, literally training children to become psychopaths from the youngest age.

That sounds like an insane statement. After all, who in their right mind would raise a child to be a mass murderer?

The textbooks used in Palestinian schools (produced by the Palestinian Authority and Hamas members working for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency) extol terrorism and the murder of Jews as means to get into heaven.

Demand Congress support the only reasonable action for peace in the Middle East.

From the youngest age, these children are taught in school that “martyrdom [dying in the process of killing Jews] is glorious.” The act of stabbing or slicing the neck of a Jew is used in verb conjugation lessons. Fourth graders are also taught math by adding up the number of suicide bombers who gloriously sacrificed their lives to kill Jews. Even kindergarteners are taught to sing songs in school that celebrate the complete genocide of Jews.

When Israel pulled out of Gaza, forcibly removing the Jews who lived there in 2005, they did so under the promise that the Palestinians would live there in peace. But 20 years later, there is no peace.

Year after year, the Palestinian people in Gaza continue to elect Hamas as their leaders and government. And for two decades, even before the October 7, 2023, massacre, Gaza has been the terrorists’ launching ground for attacking Israel and killing Jews.

The Palestinian people in Gaza are so barbaric and unwilling to behave as civilized, peaceful human beings that even surrounding Arab countries like Egypt and Jordan REFUSE to take these murderous people into their own countries.

The Palestinian people in Gaza have had 20 years to live up to their land-for-peace deal with Israel. Yet for two decades, they have refused to live up to their end of the bargain. Palestinians continue to hold 50 Jews hostage in the tunnels beneath Gaza, 20 of whom are still, but barely, alive.

Therefore, Israel has no choice but to take Gaza back from the psychopathic terror network that has been running this spit of land straight into hell since 2005.

Please join me now in demanding Congress support Israel’s move to return Gaza to prosperity and establish peace in Israel.
