CNN's Fake News Reporter Problem
CNN Reporter Has History of Fake News
Network’s “leaked intelligence report on Iran” debunked
On Tuesday, CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand ran an article claiming that the U.S. airstrike on Iran was unsuccessful. That article has now been thoroughly debunked by U.S. intelligence, Israeli intelligence, the United Nations, and even the Iranian government.
“I think the only other time the United Nations, Israel, Iran and the United States agreed on something, it was that the sky is blue,” press secretary Karoline Leavitt quipped in the White House press briefing held Thursday, referring to Bertrand’s reporting that suggested all these other intelligence reports were untrue.
Help Christians in Defense of Israel continue spreading TRUTH with your tax-deductible gift today.
By the way, if you want to know just how good Israeli intelligence is, consider this: Last fall, Iran’s former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was forced to admit that the head of Iran’s task force to root out Israeli spies was, in fact, an Israeli spy, as were 19 other Iranian task force members! God bless the Mossad!
Ms. Bertrand has a long history of publishing fake news.
In 2020, Bertrand was one of the key reporters insisting the Hunter Biden laptop story was “Russian disinformation.”
Again in 2020, Bertrand also ran an article insisting that any claims the COVID virus was a man-made virus originating in China’s Wuhan lab was a conspiracy theory.
In 2024, Bertrand ran a libelous story spreading the lie that Trump had called American military service members “suckers and losers.”
Again in 2024, Bertrand spread the hoax that President Trump had referred to white supremacists as “fine people.”
And just last October, Bertrand claimed that reports that Iran was trying to undermine President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign were fake news — despite the fact that the Biden administration declassified an intelligence report stating it had “high confidence” that Iran ran an influence campaign to try to undermine Trump, hurt his candidacy, and hire hitmen to assassinate Trump.
In Thursday’s press conference, White House press secretary Leavitt referenced Bertrand’s fake news history, saying, “This reporter should be ashamed of herself. That’s not what reporting is.”
“Journalism is trying to find the facts and the truth,” Leavitt added.
That’s why your support of Christians in Defense of Israel is so important. We find the facts and publish the truth, while working in Washington, D.C., and around the globe to defend the world’s only Jewish state.
It’s not an easy task, considering the shocking rise of antisemitism around the world and ever more present in the United States. But the Bible commands us, particularly in Gen. 12:3, to bless and support Israel.
But we can only do this important, God-honoring work with your direct financial support. Please, give generously to support our ministry today.
Finally, I ask you to pray for the President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, as well as the people of Israel and Iran.
