Soliman entered the U.S. on a tourist visa in 2022. That visa expired in February 2023. In March of that same year, despite the fact that he and his family had already illegally overstayed their visa, Soliman applied for, and was granted, a work visa by the Biden administration. But that work visa also expired, and the Solimans didn’t leave.

Instead, Soliman began plotting ways to kill as many American Jews as possible.

On November 22, 2024, Soliman tried to purchase a handgun at a Colorado Springs gun store. The store ran the legally required background check, which revealed Soliman was in the country illegally.

Not only was Soliman denied the purchase, but the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) also sent an immediate, automatic email to the Biden administration alerting that an illegal alien had attempted to buy a handgun — a massive red flag.

The Biden administration did NOTHING.

Soliman tried again, this time trying to get a concealed weapon through the State of Colorado and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department. He was denied again, and once again, CBI alerted the Biden administration, which once again did nothing.

Fast-forward six months, and it is no longer a question why Soliman wanted a gun. He wanted to kill Jews. Unable to do so with bullets, he fashioned for himself a homemade flamethrower and Molotov cocktails before heading out to injure and kill as many Jews as he could.

You’ve already seen the headlines. You know by now that Soliman set fire to at least 15 people —one of whom was 88-year-old Holocaust survivor Barbara Steinmetz. The crowd of mostly elderly Jews had gathered to show their support for the hostages still held in Hamas’ Gaza dungeons. Their prayers were interrupted by the flame-throwing Soliman as he shouted, “Free Palestine.”

But Soliman's actions betray what many of us already know. If these acts of violence were truly about “Palestine,” the perpetrators wouldn’t be targeting helpless old women in the remote plains of an American state. Like his fellow jihadis around the world, Soliman doesn’t simply want a “free Palestine,” he wants to eliminate all the Jews in the entire world.
