19-year-old Ammar Abdulmajid-Mohamed Said had just launched the first step of his attack on the U.S. Army’s Tank, Automotive, and Armaments Command (TACOM) center when Department of Justice officials apprehended the terrorist.
He wanted to be a martyr.
“There’s no coming out,” Said reportedly told undercover FBI agents as he began the attack. “It’s a one-way entrance.” The terrorist planned to conduct a mass shooting, throw Molotov cocktails, and deploy napalm to burn military members on the Detroit military base alive.
Said used knowledge he gained as a former member of the Michigan National Guard to plan the attack, according to DOJ documents.
Said claimed that Jews and Americans are all “enemies of ISIS.” The jihadi had just launched a drone to livestream his attack when authorities apprehended him. Said believed that conducting a massive terror attack on a domestic U.S. military base would “win the hearts of the people” to the pro-Palestine cause.
Praise God, DOJ officials were able to stop Said before he fired his first round.
But what is just as stunning as a jihadi attack on a Michigan U.S. Military base is the near total silence of the U.S. mainstream media.
After promoting University antisemitic riots these past few years, the national media outside of the Detroit area has had little, if anything at all, to say about this pro-Palestine terror attempt on U.S. soil. Their silence is fueling the drastic rise in antisemitism poisoning America.
As a result, less than half of Americans now support Israel.
The media silence on this issue further illustrates the importance of organizations like ours. Without organizations like Christians in Defense of Israel, Americans might never know the truth about Israel, Hamas controlled “palestinians,” or even this terror attack itself.
