What You Didn't Learn in School About Israel
America has a rich history of support for Jews and the Jewish state, but you probably never learned that in school.
-
President George Washington affirmed and welcomed the Jewish congregation in Newport, Rhode Island.
-
John Adams, America’s second president, announced his wish to see Jewish sovereignty in “Judea.”
-
Elias Boudinot, a Founding Father who served as president of the Continental Congress, wrote with great prescience:
Who knows but God has raised up these United States in these latter days, for the very purpose of accomplishing his will in bringing his beloved people to their own land.
Amazingly, that happened under President Harry Truman, a Democrat, who made the U.S. the first nation to recognize the new state of Israel in 1948.
But things have dramatically changed. And Israel’s sinking public support could lead, perhaps sooner than you and I think, to a sudden reversal in U.S. policy toward Israel. And that could be catastrophic for America. God’s Word is unequivocal ..
I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse.
— Gen. 12:3
God has blessed America as we have stood with Israel. But His curse will fall on our nation if we turn our back on the Jewish people. Help us defend and bless Israel now!
Recently, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on friends of Israel to "puncture the lies” that pose a "palpable threat" to Israel's future.
“We do not ask others to fight for us,” he added. “We do not ask for boots on the ground. But we ask for that support.”
With your help, Christians in Defense of Israel is answering the call. Please give today to help CIDI tell the inspiring truth about Israel and defeat the lies spread by her malicious enemies.
Thank you for standing with CIDI now to fight back with truth.
