Tuesday, rabid protestors funded by George Soros, as well as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), did their best to try to shut down Mike Huckabee’s Senate confirmation hearings.
Apparently, Isreal haters REALLY do not want a truth telling lover of Israel to serve as America’s Ambassador to the world’s only Jewish state.
But Huckabee rose above the multiple chaotic interruptions, responding to every question with grace and truth.
For instance, when pro-Palestinian Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) kept asking Huckabee questions about “the West Bank,” Huckabee responded by using that region’s historical and truthful name: “Judea and Samaria.”
God bless him, Huckabee did not engage in the fight that Merkley and the pro-Hamas proponents were trying to orchestrate. He simply responded with undeniable truth. Every time Merkley said “West Bank,” Huck responded by saying, “Yes Sir, Judea and Samaria.” Huckabee’s response was a subtle correction, delivering truth with a powerful and entirely diplomatic aplomb.
That is exactly the type of diplomacy America needs around the world, but especially in Israel — one which tells truth with grace ... and conviction.
But Senate Democrats are holding up the final vote on Huckabee’s confirmation!
TODAY, Christians in Defense of Israel staff will be personally meeting with Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter.
We are grateful beyond measure for God’s blessing in giving us this level of access and the opportunity to help strengthen U.S. – Israeli relations, as well as America’s Middle East policy as a whole.
