Last week, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman, Sen. Jim Risch (R-ID), announced that Huckabee’s confirmation hearing will now be held March 25 — whether the Democrats like it or not.
But Democrats and a handful of ultra-liberal “reformed” Jewish groups are fighting Huckabee’s appointment. I’ve known Mike Huckabee for many years. We co-led a tour in Israel in 2010. He will make an excellent Ambassador to Israel. Please join me and thousands of other in voicing support for his confirmation.
We need to ACT FAST to cajole the U.S. Senate into approving what might well be the best Ambassador to Israel in our lifetime.
The Middle East remains a mess after four years of Biden’s disastrous reign.
The United Nations continues to actively oppose the world’s only Jewish state.
The International Criminal Court still has an open arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
And members from both sides of the aisle in the American Congress continue to push for a “Two-State Solution,” which will devastate Israel and empower the very same people who butchered 1,200+ innocent Jewish civilians and others on October 7, 2023.
The truth is, the United States and the Holy Land NEEDS Mike Huckabee as the U.S. Ambassador to Israel.
Mike Huckabee is one of very few people I know who has traveled to Israel more than I have. “Huck,” as he’s known to his friends, has gone to the Holy Land more than 100 times. He is on excellent terms with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along high-ranking Israeli and American leaders, including those most supportive in the faith community.
As an evangelical minister, Huckabee is intimately familiar with Israel’s multi-millennia history. As a decades-long politician and statesman, Huckabee also has an in-depth understanding of Israel’s modern needs and its geopolitical importance, not only to the United States but also the world.
I am blessed to know Gov. Huckabee personally, and I can attest he would make perhaps the best Ambassador to Israel that America has ever had.
But some anti-Israel folks in Washington don’t want to see the world’s only Jewish state succeed. They would prefer to see Israel carved up and given over to her enemies. So, they are fighting Huckabee’s nomination.
It takes 51 Senators to confirm an Ambassador.
There are only 53 Republican Senators.
That’s only a two-vote margin to get Huckabee approved.
