Qatar Funding University Riots
In July 2019, the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) reported that “foreign donations from Qatar, especially, have had a substantial impact on fomenting growing levels of antisemitic discourse and campus politics at U.S. universities.” That warning proved prophetic.
It was funding from Qatar — the largest foreign donor to American universities — which laid the foundation for the shocking explosion of on-campus antisemitism you and I witnessed after Oct. 7, protests that continue to today.
Just two weeks ago, on January 22, pro-Hamas rioters from Barnard College broke into the “History of Modern Israel” class at Columbia University. Dressed in Hamas’ favorite headgear — black-and-white checked keffiyehs covering their faces — the antisemites chanted “free Palestine” while trying to force the mostly Jewish students to take outrageously antisemitic flyers. The flyers depicted a military boot stomping on the Star of David and the words “Burn Zionism to the Ground.”
This week, Barnard’s terrorists in training took over the foreign student center, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Hate-filled messages targeting Jews were scrawled across the center walls in both English and Arabic. The rioters sang the Palestinians’ now well-known genocidal song, “from the river to the sea,” further taunting the Jews on campus.
Not since the rise of Nazi Germany have we seen this level of Jewish hatred infecting the world — and Qatar is funding this madness!
We have a short window of opportunity to stop Qatar’s genocidal indoctrination of our youth, by formally sanctioning Qatar.
Please help us continue our God-honoring, Israel-supporting work with a special gift to help our ministry. Your generous one-time gift or even a small recurring monthly gift would go a long way in defending the world’s only Jewish state.
May God bless you for standing with Israel, as He emphasizes in Genesis 12:3!
