Truth in Labeling . . .

After Jordan declared war on the modern Jewish state in 1948, Arabs changed the 4,000-year-old name of the area they attacked in an attempt to eradicate Jewish history and claim the land for their own.

Suddenly, the millennia-old “Judea” and “Samaria” became the “West Bank.”

Sadly, the U.S. government has chosen to ignore longstanding, well-documented history to adopt the Arab moniker

But a movement has launched to demand “truth in labeling” when it comes to the ancient land where Jesus walked and where so much biblical history took place. And it starts with HR 7552 and S 5431 — the Recognizing Judea and Samaria Act!

The term “West Bank” was created as an attempt to EJECT ISRAEL from its God-given land. The term was created after the modern Jewish state was born as an attempt to delegitimize Israel and the Jews who live in it. But a new bill in Congress seeks to force the U.S. government to stop using that illegitimate name and replace it with the area’s true and historic name of over 4,000 years — Judea and Samaria.

Rep. Claudia Tenney and Sen. Tom Cotton introduced the bill in their respective chambers. The pro-Israel pair have also formed the “Friends of Judea and Samaria Caucus” to further support Israel and the Jewish nation’s 4,000-year-old claim to the territory located on the west bank of the Jordan River, historically know as Judea and Samaria.

"The Israeli people have an undeniable and indisputable historical and legal claim over Judea and Samaria. By introducing the RECOGNIZING Judea and Samaria Act and creating the Friends of Judea and Samaria Caucus, we are working to reaffirm Israel's rightful claim to its territory,” Rep. Tenney said.

Rep. Tenney elaborated, noting that the legislation is designed “to support communities in the region while opposing the establishment of a hostile state that promotes terrorism in Judea and Samaria.”

“The Jewish people’s legal and historic rights to Judea and Samaria goes back thousands of years. The U.S. should stop using the politically charged term West Bank to refer to the biblical heartland of Israel,” Sen. Cotton said.

Tenney and Cotton are 100% correct, but they need OUR HELP in getting this important legislation across the finish line.

Now is the time to move forward aggressively to assert the truth about Israel’s biblical right to its God-given land!
