On the Eve of War with Hezbollah

Israel is on the brink of war with Hezbollah, but will Joe Biden stand with America’s best friend and ally?

If past performance is indicative of future response, the answer is probably not.

After criticizing Israel for months for its “over the top” war and “indiscriminate bombing” in Gaza, it’s an open question what Biden will do.

That’s why it’s crucial that congressional leaders hear our clear demand: Stand with Israel and force Joe Biden to do the same. Please sign and fax the enclosed petition to House and Senate leaders and give to help us generate grassroots support for Israel’s next must-win war against Hezbollah, the Jewish state’s genocidal enemy to the north. — Mat

With victory close in its war on Hamas in Gaza, Israel now faces a much larger and more powerful enemy to its north. Hezbollah — the “Party of Allah” — is an Iran-controlled, 100,000-man military waging an unprovoked air war against Israel since October. In so doing, Hezbollah has made life in the north of Israel impossible. Hezbollah rockets, drones, RPGs, and sniper fire have rained down on Israelis, forcing more than 80,000 people to leave their homes and jobs in northern Israel to live in hotels or with family elsewhere in the country.

War is inevitable. “The anguish of northern Galilee is simply unsustainable and must be ended, even at an exorbitant price,” insists former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren.

But taking on Hezbollah is a far greater challenge than fighting Hamas. Hezbollah has 100,000 men under arms, as opposed to the 30,000 fielded by Hamas (a number since cut roughly in half by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces)). In addition, Hezbollah has an arsenal of some 150,000 rockets, many precision guided, that could fill the skies over Israel, reaching as far south as Eilat and overwhelming Israeli missile defenses. It has fired more than 5,000 missiles into Israel since Oct. 7.

And if Israel wages full-scale war on Hezbollah, Iran and its proxies in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen will join the fight. Iran promises an “obliterating war” if Israel attacks and says, “All options are on the table.”

Yet Joe Biden and Kamala Harris STILL won’t send Israel the arms and munitions Congress appropriated for them months ago. By withholding these necessary defense measures, Biden and Harris are tying one arm behind Bibi’s back as the Israeli prime minister battles enemies on every side.

Please fax Congress now and demand they send Israel the aid Joe Biden and Kamala Harris keep withholding.

As you do, please also consider making a special gift to help CIDI defend Israel as it faces Iran-backed Hezbollah, a genocidal foe determined to eliminate the Jewish state.

Finally, I ask you to pray for the people of Israel, their leaders, and especially the more than 100 hostages still held in Hamas’ Gaza bunkers.
