Israel's Fierce Foe In Lebanon Is Poised
Last week, the Biden-Harris administration conducted a series of cease-fire talks, in hopes of yet again imposing their will on the Jewish state of Israel.
Friday, Hamas announced it “categorically rejects” the deal, according to a spokesperson. “All the Israeli and international media leaks portraying the talks as positive, are unfounded and misleading,” the spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, Iran has equipped Hezbollah to be the most powerful non-state force in the world, a much greater threat than even Hamas. With 100,000 fighters, the “Party of Allah” has more than three times the 30,000 militants Hamas had on Oct. 7 — a number Israel has since cut in half.
Hezbollah’s 150,000 missiles and drones, many precision-guided, could fill the skies over Israel, overwhelm Israeli missile defenses, and hit anywhere in the Jewish state.
Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah threatens an all-out war, fighting Israel “without restraints, without rules, without limits.” He vows that an “invasion of the Galilee remains on the table.”
For months, Hezbollah has been relentlessly attacking Israel. Yet the Biden/Harris administration STILL won’t send Israel the munitions it needs to defend the Jewish people. Demand Congress intervene!
If Israel wages full-scale war on Hezbollah, Iran and its “ring of fire” — its terror forces in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen will join the fight. Iran promises an “obliterating war” if Israel attacks and says, “all options are on the table.”
Hezbollah is a fierce enemy. Its 1985 charter declares, “Our struggle will end only when this entity [Israel] is obliterated. We recognize no treaty with it, no cease fire, and no peace agreements, whether separate or consolidated.”
And next up on Hezbollah’s target list is the United States.
“Is this war now with Israel?” Hezbollah’s foreign relations chief asked on Hezbollah TV in June. “My answer is that this is not a war with Israel. Israel is merely a tool. The main war, the real war, is with America.”
Israel is fighting America’s war for us — but will Joe Biden stand with our friend and ally?
The Pentagon sent a disturbing signal in June that Israel may be on its own. Gen. C.Q. Brown, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, cautioned that the U.S. would not be able to help Israel defend itself in the event of a hot war against Hezbollah.
That flashes a red light to Israel, as the Wall Street Journal editorial page put it. And to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, that statement “probably sounds like: ‘Go ahead. You can get away with more,’” the Journal opined.
It’s crucial that congressional leaders hear our demand loud and clear: Defend Our Ally Israel! Please, sign our petition and fax Congress now!
As you do, please also consider making a special gift to help CIDI defend Israel as it faces Iran-backed Hezbollah, a genocidal foe determined to eliminate the Jewish state.
Finally, I ask you to pray for the people of Israel, their leaders, and especially the more than 100 hostages still held in Hamas’ Gaza bunkers.
