“Even if you escape the torment of history, you will not be able to escape the wrath of God,” declared Turkish Member of Parliament Hasan Bitmez in an address to the Turkish Parliament on December 23, 2023. His words were meant to curse Israel, but he wound up cursing himself.

Bitmez was right, of course, just not in the way he thought. Before even leaving the podium, Bitmez dropped dead from a massive heart attack.

Video footage shows the Turkish Parliament members first applauding Bitmez for his curse against Israel, then running to rescue the man whom God had just struck down.

“My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the doom of my evil assailants” (Ps. 92:11).

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian should have taken note. Both had cursed Israel vociferously. Both put action behind their words, funding terror proxies like the Hezbollah and Houthi rebels to continually pepper Israel with attacks.

And of course, Iran funded and trained Hamas in preparation for the horrific October 7 attack on a Jewish music festival meant to promote peace that spread quickly to a massacre of not only festival attendees but also Jewish residents living in quiet kibbutz in the surrounding area.

As I wrote yesterday, God keeps His promises, including the one He made in Genesis 12:3. Speaking of Israel, God promised, “I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you.”

And that is why I am terribly troubled by Joe Biden’s response to the Iranian leaders’ deaths.

In possibly the strangest foreign policy move of the last two centuries, the Biden State Department offered the Ayatollah of Iran “official condolences” over the loss of his leaders.

The Biden administration doubled down again, when the United Nations Security Council held a moment of silence to commemorate the man nicknamed the “Butcher of Tehran” and his Foreign Minister. Biden’s Deputy Ambassador to the U.N. Robert Wood stood and bowed his head honoring the crash “victims.” We’re talking about the “Butcher of Iran” here!

America MUST NOT bless those who cursed Israel!

The Israeli delegation did not stand, of course. Instead, Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan blasted the U.N. members for their shocking hypocrisy.

“The UN Security Council today held a moment’s silence to remember a mass murderer, Iranian President Raisi,” Erdan said in a video statement.

“This body, which makes no effort to free our hostages, tipped their heads today to a man who was responsible for the deaths of thousands in Iran, in Israel, and around the world,” Erdan continued.

“What’s next? A minute of silence on the anniversary of Hitler’s death?” Erdan asked.

The Biden administration’s condolences and participation in this sham honorarium of a deeply evil man is akin to mourning the death of Joseph Goebbels. I believe this has biblical and prophetic implications. By honoring the man God struck down for cursing Israel, are we not effectively participating in their curses?

We cannot allow Joe Biden’s duplicity and patently obvious antisemitism to curse America. I believe every single word of the Bible is as true now as when God first declared it. That includes the promise God made in Genesis 12:3. That’s why I am asking you to join me now in demanding that America stand with the world’s only Jewish state.

Congress has the power to end Biden’s arms embargo and support full and total victory for Israel. The Bible commands no less. God’s Word is clear: “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” Demand Congress stand on the right side of history and biblical prophecy.
