Iran Is Chair Of UN Disarmament Committee!
As if we needed more evidence that the United Nations is a “theater of the absurd,” to quote PM Netanyahu, IRAN is chair of the United Nations’ Disarmament Committee!
Over the weekend, Iran launched a reported 60 TONS of explosives at Israel. So much for championing “disarmament”!
Meanwhile, Iran’s proxy Hamas has responded to the United Nations demand for a cease-fire by calling every Muslim to attack Jews on their way to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Hamas has walked away from peace talks over the Gaza war, likely due to the pending Iran attack, refusing to release even one more of the hostages the terror group has held since Oct. 7. Sadly, I wonder if any are still alive. On the other hand, Hamas terrorists are willing to die, and Iran will not rest until the world’s only Jewish state is wiped off the map. We must STAND WITH ISRAEL at this critical time.
The Israeli government lays the blame directly at the United Nations’ feet, and I believe the Jewish officials are right!
Sadly, our taxpayer dollars are funding this blatant antisemitism and anti-Jewish hatred. It’s long past time for that to stop. Please join me now in demanding that Congress immediately DEFUND the Jew-hating U.N. Then read on for the news. — Mat
On March 18, 2024, Iran took over as the chair of the United Nations Disarmament Conference. Less than one month later, on Saturday, April 13, Iran launched more than 350 missiles and drones carrying an estimated 60 tons of explosives at Israel.
This isn’t the first time the United Nations has put the Tyrants of Tehran in ridiculously contradictory positions of power. In October 2023, just months after Iranian officials publicly beat 17-year-old Armita Gerawand to death for not covering her hair, the United Nations put Iran’s envoy in charge of the Human Rights Commission.
The United Nations is propping up Iran’s proxies as well.
The day after the U.N. Security Council approved a cease-fire resolution, the commander of Hamas’ military, Mohammed Deif, released a video calling all Muslims everywhere to “join the fight to liberate Al-Aqsa.” Al-Aqsa is the name of the Muslim mosque situated on top of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
The call for “liberation,” i.e., armed attack and war, comes less than 24 hours after the United Nations demanded Israel enact an immediate cease-fire, stopping all military actions in Gaza.
“To our people in Jordan and Lebanon, in Egypt, Algeria, and the Maghreb, in Pakistan, Malaysia and Indonesia,” Deif said. “Start marching now, not tomorrow, toward Palestine, and do not let borders, regimes, and restrictions deprive you of the honor of waging jihad and taking part in the liberation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Deif then quoted the Quran, saying, “March forth whether it is easy or difficult for you, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah.”
Deif isn’t alone in his call for a jihadi attack on the Temple Mount. Hamas’ top politburo member, Khaled Mashal, gave a speech in Jordan on Tuesday ordering Muslims around the world to join Hamas’ terror campaign so that “their blood will mix with the blood of the people of Palestine.”
Also on Tuesday, Hamas pulled out of U.S.-brokered truce talks being held in Jordan for the past week, refusing to release a single hostage.
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said the U.N. cease-fire demand crippled “efforts to return the hostages and stabilize the region by eliminating the radical forces and strengthening the moderate forces.”
“Hamas is building on the fact that … there will be a ceasefire without it needing to pay a thing,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz.
The American people are the primary source of income for the Israel-hating United Nations. No other country in the world gives the U.N. more than the United States. In fact, one-quarter of our entire foreign aid budget goes directly to the globalist enterprise.
