“I’ve seen quite a lot of war zones,” says Douglas Murray, a senior fellow and war correspondent for the National Review Institute. Murray has covered wars around the world, but what he witnessed in the aftermath of October 7 was beyond imagination.
“I think even for somebody like me, I was shocked, deeply shocked by what I saw, what I've seen, and what I've heard,” Murray says. “And if I could put that into a word, I think it’s the glee with which the terrorists attacked. I've seen quite a lot of human savagery, but gleeful savagery is unusual.”
“Psychopaths are a small percentage of any population,” Murray continues. “But they are born, arguably. Sociopaths are made. And we saw an army of sociopaths and psychopaths attack Israel that day.”
“We saw about 10% of the bodies, the people that Hamas killed that day. Throughout the whole thing, the Hamas fighters were in a state of utter elation, utter elation.”
Murray noted that Hamas’ actions even paled in comparison to the Nazis.
“Even the descriptions of the Einsatz group (Nazi Germany’s mobile killing units), who were shooting Jews in the back of the head in trenches, say that the soldiers had to actually be, weirdly enough, protected from their acts by getting incredibly drunk in the evenings and trying to forget what they’d been made to do.”
In contrast, Murray says, “The Hamas terrorists are utterly elated and delighted by what they’re doing.”
But now Joe Biden wants to reward Hamas with its own state, carving the land right from beneath the innocent civilians the terrorists butchered with such “glee” on October 7.
Please act now to fax your demand for Congress to (1) stand with Israel, (2) end “humanitarian” funds for Hamas, (3) stop sending millions to the Palestinian Authority (PA), and (4) permit no PA rule in Gaza and no two-state solution.
