UNRWA Does Not Want You To Know...
UNRWA has a public relations problem. The internet and news agencies are awash with stories implicating UNRWA employees in crimes against humanity:
-
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have captured numerous Hamas terrorists who also have valid UNRWA employee badges.
-
Released hostages have confirmed they were held hostage by UNRWA employees.
-
And thousands of video clips — many filmed and posted by Hamas itself — show UNRWA teachers and administrators actively participating in the October 7 attacks on innocent Israelis.
But UNRWA is taking a "don't believe your lying eyes" tactic of DENYING these now well-documented atrocities at the hands of its own staff members.
In an official statement posted to social media December 1, UNRWA wrote:
"Spreading unsubstantiated claims about @UNRWA must stop immediately. Making serious allegations in the public domain, unsupported by any evidence or verifiable facts in support thereof may amount to misinformation."
The U.N. agency's full statement went on to note that UNRWA had tried to force journalists to delete their derogatory posts, but to no avail, prompting UNRWA to declare, "These harmful and presumably gratuitous acts must stop, immediately."
UNRWA claims "it takes all allegations of breach of UN principles extremely seriously and immediately investigates them. We are hence determined to find out whether the information in question is genuine or false."
But UNRWA has not done ANY investigation into the mountains of evidence now flooding the internet. Instead, the U.N. agency's statement tried to claim that these incidents are "defamation attacks" that "endanger the lifesaving operations of the agency and its staff operating on the ground."
In other words, the agency wants you to believe that posting the truth about UNRWA staff complicity with genocide might keep UNRWA from doing its job.
But the fact is, UNRWA is NOT doing its job. For years, our reporting has shown that UNRWA teachers have been actively preaching and teaching jihad as a school subject for at least a decade.
UNRWA schoolbooks, videotaped lessons, and videos of UNRWA staff joining Hamas terrorists to capture and kill Israelis on October 7 undeniably prove UNRWA's crimes.
Now Joe Biden wants to give the Palestinian Authority, which pays lifetime pensions to terrorists who kill Jews, 100 million dollars, while also demanding up to 9 billion dollars to fund UNRWA!
We cannot allow our tax dollars to be used to fund an agency intent upon fostering, funding, and attempting to conceal terror.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Sen. James Risch (R-ID) have introduced the "UNRWA Accountability and Transparency Act" as HR 1102 and S 431.
If passed, these bills would DEFUND UNRWA COMPLETELY until a time when the U.S. State department can certify that "neither UNRWA staff and partners nor its funding and facilities are affiliated with terrorism or disseminating certain rhetoric," and can perform independent audits proving that UNRWA is not complicit in money laundering or financing terror with the funds it has received.
UNRWA's half-hearted social media denials aren't going to cut it for these members of Congress. It is not too much to ask a foreign globalist entity to prove they aren't using our tax dollars to commit genocide!
However, these bills are both stuck in their respective Foreign Affairs Committees. Please help us get these crucial bills out of committee and onto the House and Senate floor for a full vote. Sign our petition and fax Congress now to STOP FUNDING UNRWA'S TERROR CAMPAIGNS!
There's one more thing I ask of you today. Christians in Defense of Israel is nearly 20% SHORT of raising our annual budget. With all that has happened since October 7 and the rising levels of pro-Hamas, anti-Israel activity around the world, our job is becoming more difficult by the day.
Israel needs our help more than ever, but without full funding we cannot accomplish this important work. Please stand with us to bless Israel by giving generously today.
