Reading, Writing — And Jihad?
United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) teachers educate Palestinian children in the ways of jihad, corrupting young minds by incorporating genocide and anti-Jewish hatred, even into spelling lessons. Those same UNRWA teachers then congratulate the parents of terrorists … and thanks to Joe Biden, YOU AND I are paying for it all.
Two bills in Congress could put an end to American funding of UNRWA’s jihadi training schools, but Congress must hear from you NOW! Read on to learn what you can do to keep YOUR tax money from fueling jihad. — Mat
The horrors of October 7 were gut wrenching. The viciousness with which Hamas attacked innocent Israelis civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, sickened the watching world.
Equally sickening are the videos of Palestinians cheering as Jewish corpses were paraded around the Gaza strip. In civilized nations around the world, people have wondered what on earth could prompt such evil.
The answer, it seems, is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). Heavily funded with American tax dollars, UNRWA operates Palestinian schools in Gaza and the West Bank. Through these schools, even little children as young as 6 years old are taught that the murder of Jews is “glorious.”
UNRWA textbooks and teaching materials fill young Palestinian hearts with hate. From verb conjugation lessons that declare “Jihad is the road to glory” to spelling exercises on Arabic words meaning “pieces of corpses,” UNRWA’s education program is both psychotic and destructive.
And, of course, UNRWA teachers and staff members traffic in malice for Israel. UN Watch (a nongovernmental organization that monitors the U.N.) discovered numerous instances of this on social media:
- An UNRWA math teacher posted a video of Hitler to, he wrote, “enlighten your thoughts and minds.”
- An UNRWA project engineer celebrated the ruthless massacre of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics, saying this heinous act “brought glory that will last forever.”
- An UNRWA English teacher praised the “bravery” of a Palestinian terrorist who murdered an Israeli soldier and then used his rifle to kill an Israeli father of 12. “Congratulations to your parents,” she posted in praise of the killer.
“Every year, watchdog groups IMPACT-se and UN Watch study the textbooks of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and the UNRWA curriculum, and reports about disturbing behavior by teachers,” says Middle East policy expert Hugh Fitzgerald.
“Every year UNRWA promises to clean up those texts and discharge those antisemitic teachers. But it never does, and its donors never follow through on threats to cut their aid.”
Because of this blatant incitement to mindless bigotry against Israel, the U.K. slashed its aid to UNRWA by 50% in 2021. And the European Parliament has condemned UNRWA hate-mongering.
BUT JOE BIDEN IS SENDING THEM MILLIONS!
Congress CAN stop this madness if we act NOW. Will you join me today and sign our “Slash Aid to UNRWA!” Citizen Action Demand? It calls on House and Senate leaders to defund UNRWA unless it STOPS making its schools hothouses for hate.
Don’t let Joe Biden use YOUR tax dollars to fund Palestinian hate and terror! Sign our petition and/or fax Congress today!
The anti-Israel Biden administration, along with rising antisemitism around the world, has made CIDI’s job more difficult and more important than ever.
We cannot accomplish this vital work without YOUR support. Please stand with us to bless Israel by giving generously today. Make a gift to defend Israel! Select here.
