Sickening Response to Israel's Tragedy

Kibbutz Be’eri had 1,000 residents before the Hamas attack began Saturday morning. No one knows for sure how many of the citizens are still alive, but many were butchered when Hamas arrived.

Images of horror now fill the news media. But nearly as horrific is the world’s response, including that of some radical members of the U.S. Congress who refuse to condemn Hamas’ horrific actions.

We must put all our pressure on Congress NOW demanding they STAND WITH ISRAEL! Read on. — Mat

Join us tonight at 7 p.m. ET to pray for peace in Israel. You must sign up beforehand to get an email with the details to connect with us for this special time of prayer (see details below).

My heart broke as I saw a photo of a toddler’s room in the once serene village of Kibbutz Be’eri. Bullet holes riddled the child’s bedroom, his tiny mattress was soaked in blood. This baby and the entire family were butchered by the Hamas terrorists.

In the early morning hours of October 7, 50 years to the day of the Yom Kippur war on Israel, the Palestinian terror group Hamas began the biggest slaughter of Jews on a single day since the Holocaust.

The horror wasn’t just in Kibbutz Be’eri. Hamas travelled across the region, town to town, slaughtering women, children, the elderly and any Jew in their path. They beheaded 40 babies in just one Kibbutz alone, and even attacked a children’s hospital, killing the ailing children inside.

“How the terrorists killed them is not a war,” said Israeli Defense Forces Major Itai Veruv, commenting on the gruesome manner these women and children had been killed. “It’s a massacre. It’s something I’ve never seen before in my life.”

Despite the horrific images now coming to light, many are celebrating Israel’s tragedy.

Sickening response from the world...

In London, Germany, and Bangladesh, pro-Palestine rallies are being held celebrating Israel’s tragedy. In Sydney, Australia, thousands at a massive pro-Palestine rally chanted “gas the Jews.”

The Qatari government, which is holding the $6 billion of funds Joe Biden recently released from Iran sanctions, blamed Israel for the attacks.

Russia, Turkey, and of course Iran have announced full throated support for Hamas, endorsing their actions.

But the evil isn’t just abroad...

Organizations at America’s top universities are holding rallies openly celebrating Hamas’ massacre. Black Lives Matter is posting graphics of paragliders carrying machine guns, stating they support Palestine.

On social media, news personality Stew Peters claimed that the weekend attack was a “false flag” designed to justify Israel’s “bloody campaign.” He went on to add that Rep. Steve Scalise’s support of Israel during this time disqualified him from House Speakership.

Media commentator Jon Miller claimed Israel brought this on themselves.

Members of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ “Squad” are refusing to condemn Hamas’ actions. And House Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) still has a Palestinian flag outside her Capitol office door.

Over the past several days, the world has witnessed the single largest massacre of Jews since the Nazi purges of World War II. 100 years ago, America stayed silent, allowing the Jew haters to develop their poisonous plan to eradicate the Jewish race.

Hamas’ stated purpose is to kill Jews and eradicate Israel, taking every inch of Jewish land.

Congress MUST ACT NOW to send a clear message to the entire world, as well as the misguided Americans and antisemitic members of Congress that America stands with Israel.

Congress MUST now do 4 things:

  1. Issue a joint resolution to send a message around the world that America stands with Israel.
  2. Issue a joint resolution CONDEMNING Iran as well as the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists they trained and armed for this massacre.
  3. Sanction Iran to the fullest extent possible.
  4. Make it clear to any regime that if they attack Israel, they will become OUR enemy, as well.

Please fax Congress now and sign our petition. Congress is in session and able to vote to STAND WITH ISRAEL AND AGAINST IRANIAN-SPONSORED TERRORISM.

As you know, Anita and I have travelled to Israel many times, leading thousands through the Holy Land on our Covenant Journey tours. We were scheduled to lead two groups at the end of this month, including Christian lawmakers.

We have many friends in Israel. Our hearts are sickened by what we’ve seen. I don’t know if I will ever get the image out of my head of a toddler’s bedroom and toy blocks riddled with bullet holes, his crib soaked with blood. Or the one of decapitated babies. Or people burned alive.

Please pray for Israel and her people. Pray just as hard for the sickeningly misguided and hardened hearts celebrating Hamas’ terror campaign. And join me in demanding that Congress takes bold action and makes a strong statement NOW, so that the horrors of such a Holocaust may never happen again.

“Lord, deliver us; may the King answer us on the day we call” (Psalm 20:9).

As you do, please prayerfully consider financially supporting our vital work. Please, defend Israel with your gift to CIDI today!

May God bless you for standing with Israel!

Sincerely,

Mat Staver
Chairman
