The Biden Boycott is an outrage and severely damaging by itself. But it also gives the nod to private sector campaigns to boycott Israel.
“Make no mistake, the United States, by this action, is embracing the BDS movement,” former U.S. ambassador to Israel David Friedman exclaimed in a blistering rebuke. BDS refers to the Palestinian-led economic war on Israel. It seeks to Boycott, Divest, and Sanction Israel. It seeks to Boycott, Divest, and Sanction Israel — ultimately to destroy the Jewish state.
Biden’s actions will violate “a binding bilateral agreement with Israel and creates a lose/lose dynamic whereby the people of the region — Israelis and Palestinians — will lose the most,” the former ambassador continued.
Sen. Ted Cruz slammed the State Department action. "Joe Biden and Biden administration officials are pathologically obsessed with undermining Israel,” he exploded in a tweet.
Cruz held nothing back ...
The Biden administration defends funding scientific research in Wuhan with the Chinese Communist Party, but they’re discriminating against and banning cooperation with Jews based on where they live. I will do everything possible to reverse this decision and prohibit such antisemitic discrimination by the US government in the future.
