“We are in the midst of a great struggle being waged against the state of Israel, an international campaign to blacken its name,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warns about BDS. “It is not connected to our actions; it is connected to our very existence.”

Boycott, Divest, and Sanction (BDS) — is a terror-linked, antisemitic global movement which, at its heart, seeks to erase Israel from the map. Its backers deceitfully claim BDS is a pro-Palestinian civil rights campaign modeled after the anti-apartheid boycott of 20th century South Africa.

The truth is that BDS is a Jew-hating initiative with ties to terrorists. Popular on U.S. college campuses, the BDS movement brands Israel with absurd and blatantly false accusations. It charges the Middle East’s one democracy with racism, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, and even genocide.

And all to delegitimize, demonize, and destroy the world’s one and only Jewish state.

BDS leader Omar Barghouti could not be clearer: “Definitely, most definitely we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No Palestinian ... will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

And violence is a legitimate tool for Barghouti and his sycophants who justify “resistance by any means, including armed resistance.”

Last week, Florida Senator Marco Rubio announced S 1637, the Combating BDS Act of 2023, a measure to help cities, states, and the federal government to divest themselves of this blatantly racist attempt to conduct economic warfare upon Israel.

“The BDS movement is the single most destructive campaign of economic warfare against the Jewish state of Israel,” Sen. Rubio says. “Amid a rising tide of anti-Semitism, we must stand in firm solidarity with our closest democratic ally in the Middle East. This bill, which previously passed the Senate, would mark an important step toward bringing an end to the movement’s discriminatory efforts.”

This same bill passed the Senate in 2021, however, then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi REFUSED to bring the measure to the House floor for a vote.

I believe this latest anti-BDS act WILL pass the Senate again, and with your help will also pass the House as well if we pressure Congress immediately.
