Will the Debt Ceiling Bill Defund the UN?
Given the United Nations’ continuing assault on Israel, one must ask why we are funding a globalist body intent upon the Jewish state’s destruction. I can think of few better ways to decrease U.S. spending and meet our debt ceiling goals than by defunding the United Nations.
It is time to denounce, resign from, and defund the U.N. Please, join me in faxing Congress now. Then read on for the news. — Mat
For weeks, I have written you about the outrageous anti-Israel, pro-jihad initiatives at UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.
But these examples of rank antisemitism are not limited to UNRWA. Rather, they seem to be poisoning the entire globalist behemoth known as the U.N.
For instance, the U.N. recently held an official celebration of a Palestinian LIE called “Nakba Day.”
“Nakba” is Arabic for “the catastrophe.” It’s the term Palestinians use to defame and pour scorn on Israel’s modern rebirth on May 14, 1948.
The modern nation of Israel turned 75 this year, with Israelis celebrating its national birthday with barbecues, F-16 flyovers, and even a Bible quiz in Jerusalem.
The United Nations did not participate or even acknowledge Israel’s platinum jubilee. Instead, for the first time in history, the U.N. General Assembly officially observed “Catastrophe Day.”
The irony is sickeningly rich, considering the United Nations Resolution 181 created the modern Israeli state.
The REAL catastrophe ...
Middle Eastern Arabs like to claim that they were driven out of their homeland. The exact opposite is true. As soon as U.N. Resolution 181 was passed, Jews were expelled by Muslim countries.
Then, on May 15, 1948 — less than 24 hours after Israel gained its independence — ALL five of Israel’s Arab neighbors invaded the newly formed nation state, despite the United Nations resolution.
It would be the first of many wars Middle Eastern Arabs conducted against Israel in an attempt to eradicate the Jewish state and every Jew within it.
By celebrating “Nakba Day,” the United Nations is celebrating the cause of planned GENOCIDE.
I don’t know about you, but I do not want one single cent of my tax dollars spent of promoting the end of Israel or the genocide of its people.
Right now, Congress continues to wrestle with a bloated and overblown U.S. budget. I can think of few better places to start balancing our budget than by defunding the openly racist U.N., an anti-Israel globalist behemoth operating from its headquarters right in our own country.
You can help by signing our petition and faxing Congress now to demand they denounce, resign, and DEFUND the United Nations.
And as you do, please make your most generous gift to help CIDI fight for Israel at this crucial moment for Israel and the U.S.-Israel relationship. Your generosity enables Christians in Defense of Israel to make a pro-Israel difference in the halls of power in Washington, D.C., the Middle East, and throughout the nation. Please stand with us to bless Israel by giving generously.
