What Jews Can't Do On The Temple Mount

There should not be one standard for Muslims — and another for Jews, especially in Jerusalem, Israel’s capital city. But there is, and the Biden administration is encouraging it. Read on to learn more about the overtly racist, segregationist actions Joe Biden is supporting in the Middle East, and what we can do to stop him. — Mat

Jews who visit the Temple Mount in Jerusalem do so under onerous restrictions. These rules show just how burdensome the restrictions are. They . . .

  • Prohibit moving one’s lips, as in prayer.

  • Prohibit bowing.

  • Prohibit opening of a Jewish prayer book.

  • Require non-Muslim visitors to walk on a pre-determined route under close supervision of Muslim Temple Police.

Violating any one of these discriminatory rules will get Jewish visitors thrown off the Temple Mount. But why are Jews treated like second-class citizens at their holiest site?

The discriminatory Temple Mount “status quo” — with its bigoted anti-Jewish rules — dates to the Muslim Ottoman empire. Harsh edicts from the mid-1800s, rooted in severe Muslim law, or Sharia, are responsible for a “status quo” that even forbids Jews from drinking from a Temple Mount water fountain!

These archaic and bigoted laws are no better than the horrid Jim Crow segregation laws that poisoned America’s deep South 100 years ago when “coloreds” were not allowed in “white only spaces,” nor were they allowed to drink from “white only” drinking fountains.

Praise God, such racist actions have long been banned in America. But the Biden administration is imposing this ugly discrimination, this same sort of racist, biased and absurd “status quo,” on the Jewish people.

You and I must act! Join me today in protesting this rank antisemitic bigotry by telling House and Senate leaders that we support the right of Jews and Christians to pray on the Temple Mount.

Sign the “Let My People Pray” petition to Congress, urging an end to the discriminatory and bigoted “status quo” that Team Biden is helping enforce on the Jewish people.

Please also prayerfully consider making your best gift to help CIDI stand for Israel and the Jewish people. Your generosity makes a real difference to help us bless and defend Israel. YOUR SUPPORT helps send a message to Washington that Americans stand with the Jewish state . . . and staunchly reject any attempts to undermine it. Please help us fund our vital 2023 operations with a generous gift today!

May God bless you for standing with Israel!
