Emerging Split With Israel
Odious antisemitism is rising in America — and one place you can see its ugly face is in the Democrat party.
“American Jews are a threatened group,” warned a recent headline in the Jerusalem Post concerning increasing antisemitism.
“American Jews start to think the unthinkable,” reported a column in the Washington Post. In that article, the author cited an instance at his synagogue in which nearly half the congregants indicated they had discussed where to flee from the United States.
Once joined at the hip with Republicans in loyal support for Israel, today’s Democrat party is a willing host to the contagion of hatred for Jews and Israel.
That is sadly evident in people like Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — House members who vilify the Jewish state with wild smears and outrageous allegations, all without correction from party elders.
Omar, the Muslim congresswoman from Minnesota, slanders Israel, lumping it with “some of the worst human right abusers in the world.”
Tlaib, a Palestinian American and Muslim House member from Michigan, retweeted this vile Palestinian call for Israel’s elimination: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”
And New York Democrat Ocasio-Cortez defames the Jewish state, alleging its treatment of Palestinians is “very, very criminal and is very, very unjust.”
Meanwhile, Palestinians spend more than 300 million dollars annually to reward blood-stained terrorists or their families for butchering and killing Israelis. And Democrats like Omar, Tlaib and Ocasio-Cortez barely lift an eyebrow.
A new Congress has been seated. The members need to know exactly how you and I feel about this emerging split in US-Israeli relations. Christians in Defense of Israel has developed a fast and easy, no obligation, 5-question survey to keep our legislators informed.
We will be sharing the results in congressional office visits, with members of the media and with Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself. Please, take the survey today!
