2023 US-Israel Relations Survey
Let me quickly share why I am so deeply concerned about the future of America’s long and special friendship with God’s chosen people.
It starts with Joe Biden. He touts his support for Israel, but let me tell you an astonishing story that shows who he really is and where he actually stands.
YOUNG BIDEN THREATENS MENACHEM BEGIN
In a 1982 Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, then-Senator Biden sharply confronted Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin. Banging his fist on a desk and raising his voice, Biden jabbed his finger at Begin and delivered this threat:
If Israel did not immediately STOP building so-called “settlements” in Judea and Samaria, Biden growled that the U.S. would cut off economic aid to the Jewish state — which was then fighting a war with Lebanon.
And here is another disturbing glimpse at the real Joe Biden. In 2005, he told Israeli officials to get used to the idea of a nuclear Iran! According to the Jerusalem Post:
... the Delaware senator was heard saying in closed conversations with Jerusalem officials ... that Israel would likely have to come to terms with a nuclear Iran.
Now Biden is attacking Benjamin Netanyahu, issuing hostile warnings in the media through his underlings. Unnamed Biden officials, aghast that Bibi stitched together a right-leaning ruling coalition that includes Torah-observant parties, sent this ominous threat via Politico:
“Bibi says he can control his government, so let’s see him do just that.” And if he doesn’t? “We could turn up the criticism very quickly.”
As we have seen all too often from Biden, his “criticism” of Israel usually results in action against the Jewish state.
That is even more reason why CIDI’s 2023 U.S.-Israel Survey is so critically important. Please take a moment now to complete our survey, the results of which will be shared with members of Congress, the media and Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Your generous support makes all the difference. When you give, you help send a message to Washington, D.C., that Americans stand with the Jewish state — and staunchly reject attempts to undermine it.
May God bless you for standing with Israel!
